Parking at the Arlo is open! You can find the ramp to P1 parking at the north of the building in the alley off 28th! Look for the Happy Cat van in the parkade and that’s where you can find the elevator that takes you up to our door 🐈‍⬛

Currently there is no parking charge - that will most likely change when the landlord gives it to a private company but we will assess how much use it is getting and if we can set something up for just our customers we will!

There is free street parking out front of the building that turns over pretty quick as it’s mostly used by people stopping by the No Frills - speaking of which if you don’t mind walking less than a block there is always lots of free parking under the No Frills/Shoppers building!

Running a small business isn’t for the faint of heart and moving it is a whole other level 😮‍💨 so grateful for those who have been taking the extra two blocks to find us, your support is essential to us succeeding here.

We are still getting set up here and are excited to reveal some special touches that will be getting installed soon!

Feels wild to say but today is our last day here at 4171 Fraser St! We are closed Thursday and Friday and then reopening at 445O Fraser St - 11am on Saturday!

Almost 7 years of laughs, tears, singing and lots and lots of cats. From one little, very empty!, space we are so grateful to make it to this point, graduating to a new shiny space that was built just for us.

We are so lucky and we cannot say thank you enough to you, our cat people, for your support and choosing to shop with us. We never take it for granted and will continue to improve what we do for you!

We also wouldn’t be where we are without the hard work and loyalty of our team, the best group of people with the biggest hearts. We have so much fun together and can’t wait for more at our new location. Our gratitude is overflowing 🥲

We are calling Saturday a ‘soft open’ as you better believe we are going to throw a party for our grand opening once things are settled - watch this space 🎉

Two more weeks at 4171 Fraser!!

We are all the things - excited, scared, exhausted - but we can’t wait to get started on a new chapter of Happy Cat! Please make note of the two day closure, our priority is always making sure those kitties are fed 😻

Meanwhile we would love to see you in the next two weeks to help us clear out some inventory! Come grab a bargain and help us scrape some more pennies together for the final bills!

We were thrilled and honoured to be asked to be the location of a very special proposal! Matthew and Carmelle are dedicated cat guardians and now are also dedicated to each other 💍 such a beautiful moment to witness and we wish them a lifetime of happiness and cats together! 📸:

Hosting this engagement felt very bittersweet as we wind down at 4171 Fraser St. We are still waiting for the final pieces of the new space to fall into place (flooring!), and we are still expecting the switchover to happen end of April! Meanwhile please keep visiting us! Every cent we make right now keeps the momentum going through the last push 🙏
