Kokomo Therapy Dog

Kokomo Therapy Dog I'm Kokomo, a toy-poodle . My mom is an author. She published my motivational & inspirational st That didn't mean she didn't have a new trick up her sleeve.

After an assault with a weapon at work leaving me with head injuries and physical pain on every part of my body, I was advised by at least three of my doctors all saying, "Get a dog!" Knowing all the benefits of having a dog would be very beneficial to me, I did. Although, I knew how people say that they love their dog more than anyone, I had no idea how that could be until, time after time, Koko

mo saved my life, mentally, emotionally, and physically. I trained her well by myself, but soon started realizing how intelligent she really is. I learned so much from Kokomo and so did Quincy, my son's big dog. He would be bewildered wondering how she tricks him, but started picking up by following her around. Kokomo and I take our time, although it's always her choice, to stop and talk to people; help by making them laugh or understand that you don't have to be afraid of every dog, and teach them how to tell the difference. Her persistent has changed many adults and children to recognize the love of dogs. Although I've always liked animals, feeling the deep love of Kokomo, I truly became an animal lover and learned the true meaning of life. Please feel free to share your pets funny, inspiring and/or loving stories!

This video has a lot of information of what foods are good for us and what is bad. Thanks Mom for always searching for the best foods for us. Mom knows how much Lucy, her black lab used to love eating bananas 🍌 😋

Mom's friends had a dog that looked exactly like this one. His name was Quincy. He was a police officer's dog and his daddy was a K9 Trainer; he was trained well. If Mom went to visit and noone was home, Quincy would not let mom take one step into the carport. First, he would warn Mom, and if she took another step anyway while talking to him, he would try to jump out of the cage for an attack. If someone was home, he never bothered Mom and just let her pass by ............................... . ................................. Shortly after, Mom had to take care of Quincy for a week and took him for walks. As soon as Quincy saw Mom coming into the yard, he would be trying to pull the leash off the hook to go for a walk. ........................................................... .........Mom used to go for a run to the village dump and back home. Once, someone warned her about the black bears 🐻 hanging around the dump, Mom was given permission to take Quincy for a run with her. She would let him off the leash and he would disappear into the forest. Of course, Mom got worried the first time he did that. Mom called him but, he didn't come out to follow. As soon as Mom went around the corner, Quincy came whipping by her side. Back into town, she would put the leash back on him. Mom found out after, that his daddy always hid the decoys before taking Quincy for a walk. That's why Quincy kept running into the forest; to find the decoys...................................................................... Quincy is a Golden Retriever, and he kept Mom safe. During one of Mom's run, she took Quincy off the leash but, he wouldn't let go of it and left it behind while going for a drink of water in the river. It was getting dark and Mom couldn't find the leash. He was scolded and Mom told him that he better stay right beside her for the rest of the way home; yes, he did! Quincy was Mom's first love of a dog ❤

Out for a nice walk through a park, it was like walking thru the forest when Mom and Uncle Roger bumped into his friends, my sister, Monica, Auntie Kal and my cousin dog, Ghost. They of them went around the corner before Mom was able to get a picture.

The friend's little guy met my sister for the first time, and liked her so much. Every time he got left behind, he would run and start walking beside my sister; instead of his mom or dad. Even his parents were surprised how much he loves my sister.

My sister loves children and she has a way of making a connection with every child.

Little Iya sitting here with her grandma, my Mom. Iya always loved me. Probably because, I'm so small. However, even to come near Ghost is very frightening for her. Ghost is a big boy and only a year old; still a puppy and wants to sniff everyone to get to know them.

Every time he would go towards Iya, she would run to an adult for help. Mom got Iya to give Ghost treats to help her understand that Ghost will not bite her. With a bit of help by everyone on Family Day, Iya started to warm up to Ghost. Mom was able to get a picture with Iya and Ghost to post on my page. While saying goodbye to everyone, Iya said to her mom that she wants her own dog at her house. Look at her, she's so happy. 😊
