Nosework is an excellent way to exercise your dog both mentally and physically, plus it’s a fun sport that dogs of all ages and activity levels can participate in!

We offer a mix of multi-week consecutive and drop-in classes led by our NACSW certified instructor, Kayleigh.

Would you believe both of these pups used to be pretty reactive? 👀

In this video, Tom (the white dog) and Jasper (the black & white dog) show exactly what we mean when we say reactive dogs don’t need “more discipline” or “obedience training.” They need skills, safety, and a supportive environment that helps them self-regulate and make good choices. A quick look at each other, a clean disengage, and right back to their training stations — these are the wins we live for!

Both dogs are graduates of our private lessons program and are now thriving in our Reactive Dog Club, a safe, supportive space where reactive dog parents can practice their homework and help their dogs feel relaxed around others. And if you’re a reactive dog parent, you’ll know that doing this indoors is training on hard mode, too. We’re so proud of how far these two (and their humans!) have come.

With patience and the right guidance, change truly is possible. Videos like these are the culmination of a thousand little wins that add up to big behaviour change.

If you’re a reactive dog parent, you’re not alone — and you don’t have to do this alone. It really does get better with the right help.

We’re looking to bring one full-time or two part-time team members onto the Honourable Hound Team!

Who We’re Looking For:
✅ Certified R+ professionals (CTC, KPA-CTP, Dip. CBST, etc.)
✅ At least 1 year of experience
✅ Someone friendly, approachable, and upbeat. In short, an extrovert, or an introvert who’s great at pretending 😉
✅ Happy to collaborate and open to feedback – This gig is not suitable for the lone wolf type
✅ A clear communicator, both in person and via email
✅ Reliable and punctual with decent time management skills.
✅ Committed to force-free, science-based methods – This is a must

Willow, Gogi, Tobi, Fergie, Tia, June (and their humans!) recently graduated from our puppy program by working so hard on settling, focusing, and learning how to play safe with other pups.

Benito, Nelly, Henley and Willow had SO much fun practicing safe socialization at our drop in puppy socials!

Our play-focused socials are a great addition to a pups training routine- exposing them to safe play, and getting them used to both playing and watching with others in a supervised environment.
