Today, we pause to honour & reflect on the 343 members who heroically gave their lives on Sept. 11, 2001 & the hundreds more who have since passed from World Trade Centre-related illnesses. Their bravery, sacrifice & unwavering commitment continue to inspire us every day.

On this day, September 11th, 23 years ago, the World Trade Centre and Pentagon were attacked, a day that will never be forgotten. We remember the 343 firefighters who gave their lives as they rushed to help those in need, complete strangers. Let us never forget their sacrifice.

🐶 Today is , a great opportunity to emphasize the importance of keeping our pets safe from potential fire hazards.

Here are some essential tips to help ensure the safety of our furry friends in the event of a fire emergency.

🐾 Consider installing monitored smoke detectors to receive an alert when you are not home.

🐾 Secure hazards out of paws' reach, especially electrical wires and stove-top k***s.

🐾 Make sure your pet is microchipped or wearing a collar with up-to-date contact information.

🐾 Keep pets near an entrance door where fire fighters can easily get to them.

🐾 Affix a pet alert decal on the door or window of your home.
