Today’s project was pickling the last of our bantam eggs until spring & a social visit with some of our table eggs to see a dear friend. ☺️Our hens are enjoying a winter’s rest and hopefully we will be overflowing with eggs this spring. 🌷In the meantime we have some baby bunnies available if needing a snuggle. 🥰

Our bantam Isabel Ameraucana project is going strong. In late spring ee hope to have chicks to share. 😊

Some of our does have babies. 🐰if looking for a small pet with lots of character consider a Netherland dwarf or mini Rex. These little critters are full of personality and can be great company with proper care. 😄

Some speckled Sussex enjoying the long grass today. We try to leave sections of our property uncut this time of year to help pollinators until our other plants are in bloom. 🐝🦋🌷🌸

These little girls are best friends and enjoying a cuddle. Netherland dwarfs are cute, tiny fluffs. If looking for a companion, they can be sweet and full of personality🥰. Broody Bunch Birds have added Broody Bunch Bunnies to our 2023 website. We hope to have babies available this spring. We do have some Mini Rex babies still available if eager for a new friend now.

I am not ready for our winter chilly winds. Feeling a bit glum I needed a cuddle. This little baby was happy to snuggle. We still have a few mini Rex available for December if looking for a velvet friend.This little one will be 8 weeks at the end of December.

We managed to get a couple of pictures before the snow landed of our baby velvet mini Rex bunnies in the sun. These little ones will be ready for new cuddles Dec 5.

Projects can be so frustrating but so exciting when progress is made. Our bantam Isabel Ameraucana are slowly coming along. It is encouraging to have this little colour project still going strong. Hopefully next year these little ones will still be going strong. We would love to hear from you if bantams appeal to you or if you prefer standard breeds 😀
