Yesterday, we finished a very special mount — one that carries a weight far beyond the size of the animal itself.
This Grizzly was taken by my long-time client and dear friend, Justin Janke.
Justin wasn’t just another hunter through the door. He was the kind of person who brought stories, laughter, and genuine friendship every time he stopped by the shop. We shared a love for the outdoors and for the animals.
He passed away this spring and we've thought of him through every step of this project. Finishing his Grizzly mount has been both an honor and a heartbreak — preserving not just a trophy, but a memory of someone who meant a lot to us and so many others.
This bear — powerful, wild, and unforgettable — now stands as part of Justin’s legacy, with his family 💚
