your puppy's name should be music to his ears. It is ment to get him to look at you and run to you. A positive reaction. if a correction is needed, try HAY, and distract the pup with something he is allowed to do or chew on.

no word commands until the action is learned. All the dog hears is blah blah blah - speaking distracts the pup, so train with the nose first and no talking.
