Love being outdoors? Love horses? Ready to join a hardworking, fun-loving team?

Silverfox Equestrian Club (in Ashburn) is looking for a weekday team member to help keep our barn running smoothly.

Think gym membership but getting paid 🤪

What you’ll do:
• Turn horses in/out
• Muck stalls & sweep
• Walking & lifting (50lbs)
• Keep things on schedule
• Work both independently & with the team

What we’re looking for:
• Reliable & organized
• Physically fit & ready to move
• Great time management
• Customer service friendly
• Horse experience is a bonus

Ride times are posted — check your time slot and plan to be on your horse at least 15 minutes early to warm up. A good start makes all the difference!

With the hot forecast, lessons will be adjusted as needed to keep both horses and riders comfortable. We’ll work smart and stay flexible.

After your ride, please make time to hose or bathe your horse — let’s help them cool off and feel good post-lesson.

Some weeks stretch you a little more than others…Slowing down matters…No agenda, no expectation…Just a quiet moment shared between horse and human.

It’s taken a week for me to write this, and still today, through tears... Early on May 30th, we lost Juniper, and her foal... She was born here on July 1, 2015. Her mama was Maus, Ciara’s heart horse... Juniper carried so much of her strength, her heart, and her wisdom.

From day one, Juniper was bold, grounded, and just… knew who she was. An old soul. A bold leader. One of those horses you feel in your chest before you ever lay a hand on them ❤️

This year, she was at the vet clinic to foal out her next baby... Things started to go wrong and we rushed her to the Ontario Veterinary College at the University of Guelph. The team there was amazing... They were fast, kind, and ready. She went straight into surgery for an emergency C-section.

We hoped so hard. But we lost them both, her and her foal...The grief is unreal 😢

She was part of our foundation. Part of our story. Part of Ciara and Cora’s family and the Silverfox family.

But in all this heartbreak, there’s a thread of light… Her 2024 c**t, Bambam, is here with us. He’s the next piece of Maus’ legacy. And we’re so thankful he’s healthy, strong, and still with us to carry on this beautiful line.

Juniper, we love you. We miss you. And you’ll always be with us — in the fields, in Bambam’s eyes, and in all the quiet moments you helped us feel... Run free, sweet girl. You’ll never be forgotten ❤️🙏
