Fur-Ever Homes Rescue Fur-ever Homes Rescue is a registered Canadian Charity based out of Calgary, AB. We are 100% volunteers based and rely solely on the generosity of donors.

Our Mission is to reduce the number of displaced animals and find them loving homes in Calgary and area. We work with a team of trainers, Veterinarians and animal care specialists to assure all of our animals receive the care needed. If you can't ADOPT, FOSTER

An incredible anonymous donor will donate $1 for every share of this post to help us care for Ella and the other dogs still waiting for homes.

Ella was rescued from a reservation in Alberta as a puppy. She was adopted, but sadly returned three years later through no fault of her own — and she’s been in our care ever since.

This sweet senior is gentle, loving, and would make the perfect companion for a quiet home. Let’s give her the happy ending she deserves.

It's Fido Friday! Today we are getting an update on Duchess.

"Our Duchess has settled in so nicely. She has become very good friends with my standard poodle, Qui-Gon Jinn and bonded with my partner and his son. She is still nervous around women and new people but she is way more tolerant of people approaching her. I am grateful to have her as a part of our life and happy I could give her a chance at a good life where she won't have to be uprooted from the people she trusts ever again. She's very much a creature of habit and I am unsure how she would do if she didn't stay with us.
Thank you for the opportunity to care for her!"

It's Fido Friday! Today we get an update on Peanut. 🥜

"Peanut kept his name. He is a great puppy, very easy to deal with and is very social. Peanut loves meeting other puppies on his walks and often runs circles around them. He enjoys the local dog park and his doggie daycare. He is developing many interesting growls and barks and takes his house watching seriously. During the heat, we run through the sprinkler or give him a cold shower. Peanut loves to walk which he does at least three times a day. He especially loves hus park walks.
We are so happy with this little guy. I don't really find a lot of rescue anxiety with him and figure he must have had a home before us.
The entire process was easy and his foster home was obviously loving. Thank you for Peanut!"

Pedro is Adoptable!
OMG! I can't wait to meet you!! I may look like a distinguished gentleman but I am a kid at heart. I love to play play play and once supper is done, I love nothing more than to cuddle up with my humans. They say I am very smart... Well of course I am! I already know so many things and can't wait to show off.
Think we will be BFFs 4 ever?? Let's meet and find out!

Every Animal Deserves a Second Chance....

Fur-ever Homes Rescue has a mission to rescue, rehabilitate and re-home displaced animals. Our efforts are not only local to Canada but reach as far as Korea, Mexico and the United States where many animals have little to no chance of survival.

Our adoption process is structured to carefully select loving homes for each animal so they will receive a lifetime of care and love.

Our spay/neuter initiative, education programs, pet food assistance program and guidelines for responsible pet ownership will reduce the number of animals left in shelters in the future. We work with a team of trainers, Veterinarians and animal care specialists to assure all of our animals receive the care needed.
