Sadly, there has been an influx of abandoned animals within Brampton. Brampton Animal Services is currently investigating two cases involving several dogs found in terrible condition.

This is a friendly reminder that if you or someone you know is struggling with their pet(s), the City of Brampton offers many resources and support services such as the Brampton Animal Services Emergency Food Pantry and the Brampton Animal Services HOPE Fund.

Brampton Animal Services can be reached at (905) 458-5800

No family member should ever be abandoned on the streets 💔😢

As of August 2022 there have been 45 animals that have tested positive for rabies in Ontario.
25 bats. 1 dog. 5 raccoons and 14 skunks so far.
Let's all help STOP the spread of rabies. Vaccinate ALL dogs, cats and ferrets!
If you have been bitten by an animal, rinse the wound with soap and running water for 15 minutes and then immediately seek medical attention.
