Dogs are very social animals, which need regular mental and physical stimulation. The Ruff Life offers solutions for today’s "urban dog" and their busy families, by providing clients with a unique approach to basic dog obedience and behavior modification. Once you are done The Ruff Life Basic Training, you will have access to our Drop-In Sessions, Advanced Training, Mantrailing & Tracking, Detection and Seminars. We work with all breeds and all ages!! Our Advanced Group Class is officially POSTED😎🐾

This class is for teams ready to move past the basics and fine-tune skills through purposeful, challenging training. Advanced is where everything starts to come together.

🔹 What we work on:
✔️ Advanced obedience & reliability
✔️ Body awareness & confidence building
✔️ Fun, functional tricks with purpose
✔️ Clear handling skills & communication

To support real progress, we’ve split Advanced into Part One and Part Two, allowing teams to build strong foundations before moving forward — no rushing, no shortcuts.
📲 Online content begins Tuesday, November 3rd
(Online learning opens one week before in-person classes to set you and your dog up for success.)

🐕 In-Person Group Classes:

📅 Tuesday November 17th | 6:00–7:30 PM

This class is for handlers who want more precision, better teamwork, and confident dogs.

OUR DETECTION SEMINAR HAS BEEN POSTED!!!

✅DO YOU WANT TO DO DETECTION WORK WITH YOUR DOG? ✅
This is where you start! This hands-on seminar will teach the foundation of Detection work. This hands-on seminar will run on Saturday & Sunday.
(Approx hours 9am-5pm on Sat & 9am-3pm on Sun).

This seminar will establish a clear foundation for detection work. You will get to choose what type of source you are interested in working with. This is air scenting, like what Tarøt (My Human Remains Detection K9) does for her "Job".
‼️There will be both an indoor element and an outdoor element.

(Outdoor is somewhat weather dependent)

💠WHAT WE WILL BE DOING/LEARNING IN THIS SEMINAR💠
**Odour Recognition
**Commitment to odour
**Foundational skills to build drive to hunt for the source
**Establish a clear indication (Trained final response)
**Establish some duration of TFR
**Handler timing & proofing
**Odour Problem-solving

💠SOURCE CHOICES TO CHOOSE FROM💠
**HR (Human blood)
**Drugs (Ma*****na)

💠PREREQUISITES💠
**Your dog must have food or toy drive
**Aggression towards humans needs to be pre-approved

💠Cost: $420 ($400+tax) Per Dog💠
