🚨🚨🚨 NORTH DELTA (109B Street and 84 Ave) WE NEED YOUR HELP 🚨🚨🚨

One of our cats escaped his foster home in North Delta overnight on Friday July 25th, 2025.
"Chonker" was only recently trapped as an injured stray and had just had his neuter and dental surgery 48 hours before he broke out of his kennel and pushed out the air condition to escape.

"Chonker" is not familiar with the area and likely VERY scared. We have been in contact with Halo’s Pet Rescue to help try to find him and neighbours in the area have allowed us to place cameras in the search for Chonker.

If you live in the area or frequent the walking trails in the neighboring ravine please keep an eye out and contact the shelter ASAP with any photos or possible sightings. Thank you!

Happily Ever After! 💙

A wonderful update from our lovely adopter of Nelly!

"I love Nelly and she is a perfect angel!! She is very smart & is doing a good job being patient with me while I figure out the whole training thing and we get to know each other. I can tell that you all did a lot of work with her because she has such a solid foundation. Thank you!!

The past week we mostly stuck around home, doing lots of learning: how to navigate through the apartment doorways, where her place is when I’m cooking, a little crate training, and brushing up on the basics. Plus getting used to all the new noises and new smells and new neighbourhood and new routine.

She has met a few of my friends and has been so adorable with them, but we’re moving slow with meeting dogs. When she’s not working hard learning all the new things she’s napping on the couch like a Princess. A little guard barking and a little separation anxiety, but I’m committed to learning how I can best support her so she can be the best girl. Lots of encouragement and consistency from me!!

Again, thank you so much for all the love you gave her because she’s been such a dream, and you made it very easy for me to just pick up the reigns and go. She’s a very sweet and sensitive soul and I am looking forward to seeing her continue to blossom as we build trust and safety together."

Last week was another successful one full of adoptions! Multiple kitties secured their chances at happily ever afters, and we couldn't be happier for the lot them!

Two sets of our bonded brother and sister siblings found homes (Oliver/Onyx and Teddy/Tilly) as well as one of our momma cats "Bonnie"! All seem to be settling in well already and happy to be living the good home life! Yay! 🎉
