Our Happy Tail this week comes from two separate cat adoptions into one happy family! Their adopter says:
“We adopted Paws (formerly Daisy) in September 2024 — our very first cat, so this was a brand new adventure for us!
And honestly, it was exactly what we needed. Paws has become my little shadow — always by my side. She follows me everywhere, loves being carried like a baby, and often sits on my shoulders while I’m cleaning, etc. She even sits in the sink while I do dishes… and if someone’s in the shower, chances are she’s hopping in too! (No privacy in this house! 😆)
Not too long after, we thought, “Why not get her a friend?” Paws is super playful, and we figured a second cat might be the perfect match. Last month we welcomed June into the family - and we absolutely adore her! Funny enough, she’s also a fan of the sink. 🤷♀️
Personality-wise, she’s the total opposite of Paws. June swings from the curtains, meows at 5:30 a.m. to make sure I am awake, and occasionally gives love bites in the middle of the night. 😂 She’s cuddly on her terms, usually for naps or bedtime. She’s especially attached to my 6-year-old who loves to hug and squeeze her - and she doesn’t mind one bit!
When we brought June home, there were about two hours of dramatic hissing and growling from Paws, but after that? Instant best friends. Now they zoom around the house like wild little wrestlers, putting on daily WWE-style performances.
One thing is for sure - they are both deeply loved and ridiculously spoiled. We couldn’t be happier. ❤️”
