This post has been delayed, and I am so sorry for that. It has taken some time to have access to my Mama’s Page.
I am her daughter, posting on her behalf. I am unsure of how many of you know... but my Mama has been living with Stage 4 Cancer for the last 19 months now. Despite this - she has continued her passion for making Memory Bears and Pillows for her wonderful customers.
Since January, Mama has been experiencing some complications... and on April 19th, she fell and broke her right arm - next to the shoulder. What followed were weeks of her being completely bedridden, too sick to even use her phone. Finally last Wednesday, she was admitted to hospital, where she remains to this day.
At this time, we do not know how long it will take before Mama can finish orders again. When she was diagnosed with Stage 4 Cancer - she began teaching me how to sew. Very quickly, we realized that I had my Mama’s touch and skill for sewing. I can now sew quite well... however, I do not yet know how to use her embroidery machine or her computer programs that allow her to customize her orders.
I am going to continue updating her page. If you currently have your loved ones clothing at Mama’s house to be made into Memory Pillows or Bears - and you would like to have them back - please feel free to message this page. I now have access to SanDor’s messages... but not Mama’s private ones.
Alternatively, you can also leave your loved ones clothing at her home. Our hope and prayer is that Mama will soon return home; and will be back in front of her beloved sewing machine in no time. If not to sew herself - but to finish our lessons so that I can continue her life’s passion for creating precious Memory Bears & Pillows for her wonderful customers and friends.
One thing I ask at this time is for your prayers. Please pray for Mama’s speedy recovery. Please pray for her peace and comfort during this uncertain time. And if you do not pray - please send as many positive thoughts, intentions, feelings, energy and vibes as you can towards her and her recovery.
Thank you all! Thank you!
