🍬 Meet Butterscotch, affectionately known as Butters!
This sweet senior Terrier x Shih-tzu mix is looking for a loving home where she can spend her days enjoying belly rubs, tasty treats, daily walks, and time with her favourite people.
Butterscotch is a calm, loyal girl who loves being included in family activities. She's friendly with adults and school-aged children, enjoys approaching people for attention, and is happy to share her affection with a whole family. She can also form a special bond with one person, making her a lovely companion for a variety of homes.
A few things to know about Butters:
💗 She is fully house-trained and knows sit.
💗 She has a moderate energy level and enjoys daily walks.
💗 She loves belly rubs and chicken jerky treats.
💗 She gets along well with smaller dogs but can be nervous around larger dogs.
💗 She may have some hearing loss, as she doesn't appear to respond to sound cues.
💗 She may bark and whine when left alone initially, but settles without causing damage.
💗 She needs frequent opportunities to go outside throughout the day, along with at least one good walk.
Butterscotch has a playful side, too! She may not play often, but when her daily zoomies kick in, she'll happily parkour across the furniture. It's quite the show!
More than anything, Butters is looking for a home where she can feel safe, loved, and included. She doesn't need someone fussing over her every minute, but she'll never turn down a cuddle or a good belly rub.
