The babies have officially moved into their temporary penthouse suite while they wait for their first sheds.

Despite having plenty of room, they’ve collectively decided that personal space is overrated and prefer to pile into the same hide together. 😂

The little Ivory occasionally sticks its head out to make sure the room service is still available, while the other two remain committed to the cuddle puddle lifestyle.

Watching these babies settle in has been one of the coolest parts of producing my very first clutch. ❤️

🚨 BABY NOODLE ALERT 🚨

After 55 days in their all-inclusive egg resort, room service, climate control, and zero responsibilities… these three finally decided to join the real world. 😂

Introducing the first three babies from my very first ball python clutch!

🐍 Mom: Sombra (Pastel Leopard Yellow Belly het Clown)
🐍 Dad: Reaper (Blackhead GHI Yellow Belly)

Needless to say, I’m obsessed. 😍

As a brand-new breeder, these are my best guesses so far, but I’d love to hear what everyone else thinks!

✨ Baby #1 – Thinking Blackhead GHI Leopard Yellow Belly, possible het Clown

✨ Baby #2 – Pretty confident this one is a Super Yellow Belly (Ivory)! Curious to see if any other genes managed to sneak into the party as well. Also potentially het Clown.

✨ Baby #3 – Thinking Pastel Leopard Yellow Belly, possible het Clown

Watching these little guys emerge and trying to figure out exactly what they inherited has been such an incredible experience. It’s one thing to admire morphs online—it’s another thing entirely when they’re babies you produced yourself.

Now excuse me while I spend the next several weeks taking approximately 14,000 photos of them and second-guessing every morph ID. 📸😂

What do you guys think? Am I on the right track?

Planning on taking home a new friend from the Reptile & Plant Expo tomorrow? A little prep goes a long way when it comes to winter travel — let’s keep everyone safe and cozy on the journey home!

🧣 Use an insulated bag or small cooler for reptile friends
🪴 Keep plant friends covered — bagged or gently wrapped for warmth
🔥 Use heat packs with care — sensitive plants and reptiles should only use them if recommended by your vendor
🚗 Never place reptiles or plants on your dashboard or directly against vehicle heat vents

We can’t wait to see you tomorrow and help you find your next amazing addition. Have a wonderful time at the Expo! 💚
