Symptoms include:

Cough - Kennel cough can almost sound like a honking noise at times. It is a persistent dry hacking that sounds like your dog is going to vomit.

Hacking up foamy liquid and phlegm - Hacking up phlegm is a common symptom of kennel cough, the same way humans do when we have the flu. It is also possible that they may throw up liquid and foam.

Other less obvious kennel cough symptoms might include sneezing, a loss in appetite, redness around the eyes, and/or a runny nose.

If you are noticing any of these symptoms in your dog, please quarantine them from other dogs for 14 days. (No daycare, boarding or dog parks)

The ticks are out with a vengeance lately! This little one we took from a patient was a great reminder to keep up with your preventions.
November is the final month for heartworm prevention but we strongly recommend year round tick protection. We have many options available to best suit your needs.
