Ben Howe (Blue Hills), in Gaelic, was the original name given to the farm when it was built in 1856 .

Sundays are usually a day off for the horses and a day we do deep cleaning, repairs and other things that need fixing around the farm. Today we installed corner feeders which involved using the circular saw and drill, did a deep clean on all buckets, cleared trees that had fallen across the trails (using a chain saw was new for team member Mackenzie), clipped a pony who is scaring us with an early winter coat and let the ponies choose their own coloured lead rope for themselves.

2 1/2 year old Paris 2nd time hooked to the carriage showing off her first trot and 6 year old Archie, showing off his fancy trot. A fun day today driving all the ponies. Kas also showed us that he has been hiding a pretty impressive extended trot - sadly no video. Checker worked on his canter. Hattie showed off her super trot too as she returns to under saddle work now that Charlie is ready for short separation times.
