We are excited to introduce in-clinic canine behaviour consultations at Kato Animal Hospital!

In collaboration with Caryn Charlie, Canine Behaviour Consultant, we now offer dedicated behaviour consult days to support concerns such as reactivity, aggression, anxiety, handling difficulties, separation-related behaviours, and early puppy development.

These structured 45-minute appointments allow time to assess behaviour concerns and develop practical, science-based plans aligned with your pet's medical care. Each consultation includes a written summary with practical next steps to support ongoing progress at home.

Hi everyone!

Kato Animal Hospital has partnered with TerraCycle to be a public drop-off location! As the new 2026 Ontario recycling program has rolled out, Royal Canin and Eukanuba kibble bags are no longer accepted by our local recycling programs. Their companies are working towards having a recyclable option within the next few years, but until then, they have partnered with TerraCycle to properly break the bags down to their raw materials and give them new purpose in life.

All you would have to do is simply place your empty Royal Canin or Eukanuba bag into the large red box in our reception area, and we will take it from there. Let's work together for a greener tomorrow for us and our pets!
