The tapeworm, Echinococcus multilocularis, wasn’t thought to be present in Ontario until five sick dogs from the Golden Horseshoe area were identified between 2012 and 2016.

Spring has sprung and dogs are already rolling in god knows what on the beach. Here’s a good article on when and how to bathe your dog. Just remember, a good rule of thumb is that if they smell.. it’s bath time🐾
