The Canadian Reptile Breeders Expo is just around the corner! Not only is this the largest reptile expo in Canada, it’s also the biggest pet show overall. Whether you’re passionate about reptiles, fish, birds, small animals, cats, or dogs, there will be something for you—and your pets—at this event.

Below is our updated list of livestock currently available in the reptile room. This is also a final reminder that we cannot bring everything listed. If there’s something specific you’re really after, please place an order in advance. Simply select the “Pick Up at Expo” option on our website, and your order will be delivered to the show at no extra cost. Prices on the site are the same as those at the expo.

Captive Bred Dune Gecko / Elegant Geckos (Stenodactylus sthenodactylus) are in stock at the store right now!

These are a perfect choice for keepers with limited space or anyone interested in smaller gecko species. Native to arid regions of North Africa and the Middle East, Dune Geckos thrive in warm, dry environments. They reach only about 3–4" in length, making them one of the smaller gecko species commonly available in the hobby. They also display a surprising amount of natural variation in both pattern and colour.

This species is generally peaceful and can be kept in groups, provided there is enough floor space, visual barriers, and hiding spots to reduce stress. Being an arid-adapted species, they require a dry, sandy-style enclosure with low humidity, though a small humid retreat can be offered to support proper shedding. Dune Geckos are nocturnal and very active after dark, often seen digging or exploring, which makes them fun to observe in a naturalistic setup.

We have some European Captive Bred Black Eyed Tree Frog or Morelet's Tree Frogs. This is a species that many frog keepers have been asking us about and we were finally able to get some!

These frogs are native to parts of Central America—southern Mexico, Belize, Guatemala, El Salvador, and Honduras. Its habitat includes moist tropical lowland and montane forests, as well as freshwater marshes and seasonal pools.

Physically this species resembles the popular Red‑Eyed Tree Frog but is slightly smaller, with a solid green dorsal surface, striking dark black eyes, and a pinkish‑red belly .

If you’ve been waiting for Black Eyed Tree Frogs to become available, don’t hesitate as it is unlikely they will stay in stock for long!

Excited to be heading back for this one! The Western Canadian Reptile Expo August 16-17, 2025 at Seven Chiefs Fieldhouse in Calgary, Alberta!

Below is a list of all the animals we currently have in stock. Please note this is a general availability list for our customers and 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐚 𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐰𝐞’𝐫𝐞 𝐛𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐠 to the WCRE. Some animals on this list are not permitted in Alberta and, of course, will not be coming to the show.

We always aim to bring a good variety of animals to each expo, but we can’t bring everything. If there’s something specific you’d like us to bring and set aside for you, it must be pre-ordered in advance.
