We are a full-service reptile, fish, and plant store located in the heart of the Bloor West-Runnymede neighbourhood, in the west end of Toronto's Junction. Easily accessible by public transit, with plenty of parking available in the plaza. Visit us and explore one of Canadaโ€™s largest selections of reptiles, including lizards, snakes, and amphibians. Our store also boasts a wide variety of freshwat

er fish, invertebrates, plants, and an entire room dedicated to houseplants, terrarium plants, and rare finds like carnivorous plants and orchids. Youโ€™ll find the classics like leopard geckos, corn snakes, ball pythons, and bearded dragons, but for true enthusiasts, we also offer rare species such as Agamids, Green Tree Pythons, Tortoises, rare geckos, and unique freshwater fish not often seen elsewhere. In addition to pets, we carry a broad range of feeders and supplies for reptiles, amphibians, and aquatic creatures. We also offer a large selection of indoor gardening supplies, as well as collectible fossils and curiosities for those who enjoy the unusual.

Reminder: The deadline for the next wave of Cornel's World Terrariums is this coming Monday!

You can place an order for most standard sizes of their PVC cages, racks, and incubators directly through our websiteโ€”as shown in the video attached to this post. Options include acrylic or sliding glass fronts, as well as strip LED lighting.

A 50% deposit will be automatically applied at checkout, with the remaining balance due at pickup.

We only place this order about once every four months, so if youโ€™ve been waiting to get one of these top-quality enclosures, nowโ€™s the perfect time!

We currently have a very limited number of Albino Iguanas at the shop. These ones came in fantastic condition with some very nice colouration. However, it's important to remember that despite their beauty these are still going to be full-sized iguanas and will need an extremely large enclosure once they reach adulthood.

Iguanas are not ideal for beginner reptile keepers. Theyโ€™re best suited for experienced hobbyists who are familiar with the care requirements of large reptiles and who have the space, time, and resources to provide proper long term care. For the right keeper, they can be incredibly rewarding and interactive pets.

A special consideration with albino reptiles is their increased sensitivity to light. Due to the lack of melanin, Albino Iguanas are more vulnerable to intense lighting and UV exposure. When setting up their enclosure, it's crucial to use UVB lighting that provides adequate wavelengths for their health without overwhelming them. Opt for lower-intensity UVB bulbs and ensure there are shaded areas in the enclosure where the iguana can retreat to avoid direct exposure. Diffused lighting, careful placement, and timers to limit light exposure duration can all help manage their sensitivity and promote well-being.

Proper lighting setup is key to supporting their health while preventing stress or potential eye and skin issues.

We have one Monkey Tailed Skink now at the shop be sure to come by and check him out! These are a very cool an unique species that you do not get to see often!We have one Monkey Tailed Skink now at the shop so be sure to come by and check him out! These are a very cool and unique species that you donโ€™t get to see often!

Also known as prehensile-tailed skinks, this species is native only to the Solomon Islands and are the largest arboreal skinks in the world, reaching up to 32" with their tail.

They posses a prehensile tail, which they use like a fifth limb to grip branches as they move through the trees the same way a monkey would hence the name. Unlike many other lizards, Monkey Tailed Skinks are strict herbivores, feeding on leaves, fruits, and flowers.

They're also one of the few lizard species known to live in family groups, and they give birth to live young but usually just one baby after a long 6โ€“8 month gestation.

Weโ€™ve received a shipment of over 800 Neoregelia bromeliads, including more than 80 different varieties! There are tons of smaller species that are perfect for terrariums and compact growing spaces.

Please note: The photos shown are examples of plants from this shipment, taken immediately after unpacking. They are still settling in and not yet showing their full colors โ€” with time and the right lighting, they will develop much more of their colours.
