Cats need prevention too!
As the warmer weather seems to have arrived, parasites have come along for the ride.
We typically hear a lot about getting dogs on prevention as soon as the sun breaks free from the snow but CATS are just a susceptible to parasites as dogs.
From other household pets going outside, visitors to contaminated clothing or pests just sneaking in on their own, even "INDOOR ONLY" cats face a myriad of opportunities for exposure.
The only way to ensure a parasite free pet is to keep them on prevention throughout the season.

"An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure"- Benjamin Franklin

Parasite season is upon us again! Its time to make sure your furry family member is fully protected against parsitic freeloaders like, fleas, ticks and intestinal worms!

Ticks become active as soon as the weather is above freezing and many intestinal worm eggs survive the winterr, only to be picked up by a passing paw and injested when cleaning off chilly toe bean.

We currently recommend dogs and outdoor cats stay on tick prevention from December to May and begin full parasite prevention again from June through November.

Happy Holidays!

As the year is coming to a close and the holiday season is upon us, we just wanted to take a moment to say thank you for your support and allowing us to be a part of your pet's health care journey!

We would also like to remind you of our upcomoing reduced schedule.

We will be closed December 25, 26 and January 1st. Please be aware we have also reduced our hours on December 24th and 31st; we will be open from 8:00am-2:00pm.

If you need food or medications please be sure to order them in advance as our suppliers have also modified their delivery schedules and our shipments may experience delays over the holidays.

Thanksgiving is just around the corner and we will be CLOSED Monday October 13th! We ask that you be sure to pick up or order your foods and medications in advance.

Regular hours will resume Tuesday October 14th!

And please remember, Sharing is NOT always caring!

Holiday meals are famous for leftovers, lavish treats and table scraps, including rich, fatty foods that can be difficult to digest and should be kept away from pets lest a trip to the emergency clinic!
