This week, we had the pleasure of welcoming the amazing team from Travelers Insurance to our farm as part of their Community Connections Program, coordinated through our wonderful partners at GlobalMedic.

Together, we packed hundreds of microgreens that will be donated to local food banks, helping to bring fresh, nutrient-rich food to those who need it most.

As local urban farmers at The Six Farms, one of the things we cherish the most is the connection we’ve built with the chefs and businesses we serve.

Every week, we deliver our fresh harvests directly from the farm to the chefs—with no third-party distributors involved. We love doing this.

Why? Because it’s not just about greens—it’s about community.

One week, it’s our microgreens on top of a monkfish from Diana’s. Another week, it’s hummus made from a chef’s special recipe, paired with olive bread from Le Beau.

We all bring something to the table—literally. This is how we live the love of gastronomy: not in isolation, but as a vibrant, collaborative community.
