CD Pet Studio at Mastergroom Canada 2025

CD Pet Studio had the honour of attending Mastergroom Canada 2025, held at Spruce Meadows in Calgary from July 25–27. This three-day event is Canada’s largest dog grooming convention, welcoming top groomers from across the world to compete, learn, and celebrate the art of professional grooming.

Our very own founder, Cindy, proudly represented CD Pet Studio on the competition floor and even made headlines with a feature on CTV News!

We’re thrilled to share some of the amazing results from the weekend:
🥉 Third place in the Freestyle Grooming Competition with the Bichon, Mia.
🥈 Second place in the Creative Grooming Competition with our model dog.
These achievements wouldn’t have been possible without the support of our wonderful clients and friends. A special thank you goes out to Mia and Loopy’s moms , who went above and beyond by flying with their pups to Calgary so they could take part in this incredible experience.

Events like Mastergroom Canada are a true reminder of how dedicated, passionate, and creative the grooming community is and we’re proud to represent our studio and our clients on this national stage.

We can’t wait for the next opportunity to showcase our skills and keep growing as part of this amazing industry!

Thank you TOGO Grooming Show 2025!
This year’s event truly showed me how strong and talented the grooming community has become. The competition keeps getting better and more inspiring each year.

I’m so proud of Cindy and her travel partner Loopy, who won 3rd place in the Intermediate Hand-stripping category! A huge thank you to the experienced judge Sally Hawks for her honest and valuable feedback—it was direct, sincere, and truly appreciated.

It was also an honor to meet the lovely from the U.S.—they are just as wonderful in person as they are in their videos!

Big thanks to for judging the Freestyle category, where I was thrilled to take home 2nd place. In the Model Dog category, I placed 1st twice and 2nd once, with detailed feedback that will help me continue to grow.

Thank you again for hosting such an incredible event, and for the two beautiful scissors—such a generous gift.

Congratulations to all the amazing groomers who walked away with well-deserved awards! Here’s to passion, growth, and community.
