📣 Welcome Dr. Jennifer Wan! 📣

We are thrilled to announce that Dr. Jennifer Wan, DVM, DVSc, DACVS-SA, has joined the surgery team at Toronto Animal Health Partners as of July 2nd! 🎉

Dr. Wan completed her surgical residency at the Ontario Veterinary College in 2022 and became board-certified in 2023. Her expertise includes soft tissue and minimally invasive surgery, routine orthopedics, and emergency procedures.

With Dr. Wan joining Dr. Reynolds, we now offer a 5-day-a-week surgery service, allowing us to accommodate referrals for both routine and emergency surgeries more promptly. Our surgeons will be working closely with our Emergency Service to provide full support from Monday to Friday.

For elective surgery referrals, please contact Amanda at 416-380-7400 ext 414. For emergencies outside of Monday to Friday, 8 am to 6 pm, please reach out to our emergency service for assistance.

We are excited about Dr. Wan's addition to our team and look forward to continuing to provide exceptional care and service.

🐾🩹Dordor came to see the neurology department every month for a year for his chemotherapy infusions of Cytosar to treat Meningoencephalitis of unknown etiology 🩺(inflammation of the brain and its surrounding membranes with an unknown cause).

He has come a long way, is doing very well and we wish him all the best! We will miss you Dordor! ❤️"

We are excited to announce that Dr. Marie-Philippe Bussières has joined the Toronto Animal Health Partners team at our North York location as a Neurologist and Neurosurgeon!

Dr. Bussières completed her veterinary medicine degree at the University of Montreal in 2014. She has completed multiple internships (small animal rotating, small animal specialty surgery, neurology/neurosurgery) and worked in the emergency department at a busy referral hospital in Glasgow. She completed her neurology/neurosurgery residency at the Veterinary Specialty Centre for Anaesthesia and Neurology in Ottawa in 2022.

She is fluent in both English & French and is available for referral appointments from Wednesdays to Saturdays.
