Spring Celebration at Riverdale Farm
Saturday, May 24
10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The Spring Celebration will feature sheep shearing, spinning demonstrations and children's activities throughout the day.

Sheep Shearing Demonstration
11:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m.
(meet at the Lower Francey Barn)

Goat Demonstration
12:30 p.m.
(meet at the Goat Paddock)

Join a talk on goats and ask the farmers questions.
(meet at the Meeting House)
10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Toronto Guild of Spinners and Weavers will be doing carding, spinning and weaving demonstrations.

Children's crafts and the playroom will be open.

It is time for our annual Boo Barn this weekend. Come visit the pumpkin patch or explore our spooky barn. Halloween fun for everyone! Costumes are welcomed 🎃☠️

The annual Fall Festival is happening this weekend on Saturday and Sunday. There will be children’s activities, animal demonstrations, line dancing and lots more. There will be fresh corn being sold both days and a pancake breakfast on Sunday. 🌾🌽

We will also be selling wool yarn skeins and wool dryer balls made from our sheep at the farm. They will be sold in the meeting house on both days. All proceeds go to Riverdale Farm🐑

Riverdale Farm is a historic working farm with 7.5 scenic acres including wooded areas, ponds, and butterfly-herb-flower-vegetable gardens. There are various farm animals and buildings such as the pig and poultry barn and the Residence.

Spring is here and our babies are starting to arrive. We welcomed two new baby goats and will be expecting more in the upcoming weeks. Come visit the new arrivals at our farm 😊
