EDIT: Chico came home and was waiting comfortably outside seating on the chairs.

Because I looked.everywhere in the backyard , on the streets until 3am together with my neighbor Sue Robinson that kept going when I had to stop.

I am assuming that maybe someone found him and brought him back sine I left my address on my post .
IF that was the case, please let me know who you are.

As for Chico, if he would eat ice cream and had a girlfriend he would be grounded for rest of the summer for all the worry and tears he gave me.

And because he escaped to not have a bath, that is were he will be in the next 10m.

LOOKING FOR CHICO

Chico managed to sneak out tonight.
If anyone seen him please contact 519 274 1173.

He doesn't have any collar on him but has microchip .

While I was cleaning up Oden after arriving from the kennel, mom when to grab some bags out of the car and he sneaked out ( probably trying to avoid his bath). If you see him running and give him a " chico stop" command he will stop and let you grab him.
He will not bite you.

Thank you in advance for the help.

Its breaking my heart knowing he is outside at night.

Just a little bit on my walk back after an amazing supper.
Had to digest all the food and wine and did the round way home .

If you notice some of the balcony railings date back to the 1800's. And for the clients that asked me what the food price is like in Elvas, there is a menu.
A meal for 2 with steak, and veal, 3 appetizers, .5l of wine and 2 espresso was under 43 euros. Though there was lots of food left. My steak was the size of my dinner plate. We could fit the dessert that was 2.5 euros and they all looked so good

Weather has been great, hot with a nice breeze, the best for me are the cute guys (pets) I find while walking the streets of Elvas.
Not sharing monuments... but the best in the world.

A stray cat having a nap, there are many rooming the streets and everyone takes care of them, or maybe this one belongs to the coffee shop and just found a cool file of sand from a building on construction right beside the café, he was enjoying his nap so much that only lifted his head, looked at me and went back to relaxing.

The dog...on patrol people watching, 3rd floor window.

I could not resist and not take a pic.

It is family time.
The shop worked very hard for the last 18 days to make sure every pet was taken care off before I close for my family time.
Please take good care:
Brush, check for long uncomfortable nails, ticks, flees, avoid walking your pet in the heat.
My phone will be available for texts as well as messenger, I will try to reply as soon as possible to everyone that needs to contact me. Please don't mind the "off time" reply, when you get up I will be on lunch time.
I am booking for last 2 weeks of august.

TIP FOR TO MUCH SUN AND PETS OVERHEATING: don't put over or give them ice water , pets cooling system is their belly and paws, apply water in this areas or cold towels.

Pets love watermelon and cucumbers, they are ok to eat this fruit and vegetable and it is very refreshing for them, also full of water.

My sweet friend Frank is a very old boy.
He had a lovely spa day and is going home feeling clean
Frank can't handle standing very long time anymore so he lays down for his groom and nails/paws.

Many things go through my mind when I am grooming.
One of them is: what matters most to patents? A neat hair cut or a safe pet.

Grooming is not cheap and can quickly become expensive to maintain a dog that requires frequent grooming. So here some advise to cut down your bill and a few tips not to lose the groomer, regardless of who she/he is.

DON'T argue the price or tax if you find a home groomer, you wouldn't do that at pet value.

DO ask for information about the groomer ( references, pictures, insurance, credentials)

DO brush your dog daily and make sure he is not matted to avoid " matted pet" fees or a shave down you didn't want .

DO ask what is included

MAINTAIN your pet on a schedule, helps him warm up to the groomer and the process, to AVOID "difficult" " bite" fees and possibly be refused future grooms.

DO cancel on time to avoid late cancelation fees

PUT a reminder on your phone to avoid " no show" fees

Remember, a groomer that works from home should not get less respect then a groomer at a store. Make sure you do your search before you find a groomer and before that, think and ask yourself a few questions before changing or settling.

1. What is more important? Safety, experience, insurance or a cheap price list

ALL inclusive could and most times means: proper bath, special shampoo, nails, sanitary, ears cleaned and choice of hair cut, conditioner.

NOT included, hurting your pet because he is very matted, brushing out months of brushing because parent didn't brush, waving fees for extra work and time spent on your pet.

A perfect groom is never guaranteed as groomers work with what comes in and the most 2 important things can contribute to a bad hair cut:
Behavior, coat condition.

The groomers priority should always be your pet safety and her own

One last time as this is getting long.

Remember what matters most?:

Will your pet be comfortable with your choice?
Are you comfortable with your choice?
Is your pet safe?
Is the groomer safe? ( tell your groomer about your pets grooming history behavior)
Is your pet happy when you pick him up?

Always communicate any concern you may have at drop off and pick up.

Pets are moving targets, if you notice any nicks, scratches or something uneven always ask what happened.

What clients never see...what happens at the end of the day, clean, disinfect and maintain equipment.
And this friday date was with my K9II that decided to break down before my last client. Glad Penny is a small girl and your groomer thinks she knows what she is doing...with all fingers crossed, black hands full of oil like a mechanic and an electric shock installing the last piece after testing if its working and not unplugging 🤣🤣 4 hours later all cleaned up and ready to go again tomorrow morning.
