THIS. 👏🐾

I’m so excited to see Endless Pawssibilities offering this.

One of the things I wish more dog owners knew is that grooming is a skill dogs can learn.

Having their paws held, nails trimmed, face touched, ears handled, body positioned, clippers around them… these are BIG asks when a dog hasn’t learned what to expect or that they’re safe while it’s happening.

And the more comfortable your dog becomes with being handled, the better the experience can be for everyone, your dog, their groomer, their vet, and YOU at home.

I love seeing opportunities like this that help our dogs learn what we’re asking of them, while teaching us how to work WITH them. 🤍

Grooming doesn’t have to be something we simply get through.

They can learn how to do it WITH us.

Cooperative care for the win. 🐾

Does your dog suddenly forget how to function when the nail clippers come out? 😅

Maybe they pull their paws away, fight brushing, hate having their ears touched, wiggle nonstop on the grooming table, or become stressed the second the vet starts handling them.

For a lot of dogs, these things don’t just get easier with time. They need to actually be taught how to feel comfortable with being handled.

That’s exactly what we’ll be working on in our Cooperative Care Foundations class. 🐾

We’ll build skills that can help with:
• Nail trims
• Brushing and grooming
• Paw, ear, face, and body handling
• Vet exams
• Wearing and removing equipment
• Being positioned or gently restrained for care
• Learning to stay calm and participate instead of struggling through it

The goal isn’t just to get the job done, it’s to help your dog understand what’s happening and feel safer during everyday care.

If you’ve ever thought, “My dog HATES having that done,” this class may be exactly what you need.

𝗧𝗮𝗶𝗹𝘀 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗴𝗿𝗼𝗼𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲. 🐾

Charlie here chose violence today.

Charlie is VERY particular about having his front legs and paws touched.

First, he showed me his teeth.
Then he attempted to land said teeth on my hand.

As the photo clearly demonstrates, Charlie shows no remorse. 😂

What I 𝙨𝙝𝙤𝙪𝙡𝙙 have captured on video was what happened next.
But I was a little busy learning Charlie’s language.
We’re still dating, after all.
He’s only been faithful to one groomer so far. 😂

Instead of growling at him…
I growled at the brush.
I firmly told the brush, “NO. Be nice to Charlie.”

And wouldn’t you know it…

Charlie let me hold his leg and paw and brush him.
So I praised Charlie.
And the brush, obviously. 😂

We repeated the same little performance with the scissors.
So now I’m talking to dogs and my grooming tools on the regular 🤷🏻‍♀️

Nails were another story.

Even with some extra support, we got down to ONE paw left when Charlie made it pretty clear he’d had enough.
So we listened.

Charlie isn’t an aggressive dog.
He was afraid. Petrified even.
And there’s a difference.

I didn’t “fix” Charlie.
I met him in between.

In between 𝙉𝙊 and 𝘰𝘬𝘢𝘺, 𝘐’𝘭𝘭 𝘵𝘳𝘺.
In between fear and trust.
In between what needed to be done and what needed to be respected.

That’s where peace is sometimes found.
Not in getting past the boundary…
recognizing it, working with it, and knowing when enough is enough.

Be like Charlie.

Know your boundaries.
Communicate them clearly.
And once you’ve been heard…
maybe don’t bite the person trying to help you. 😂

Peace out ✌🏼

Because apparently some dogs like to make questionable decisions after business hours. 😂🐾

After chatting with a few people lately about skunk encounters, I had a thought…

What if you didn’t have to discover at 11 p.m. that you’re missing ONE ingredient you need?

So I made 𝗘𝗺𝗲𝗿𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗰𝘆 𝗗𝗲-𝗦𝗸𝘂𝗻𝗸 𝗞𝗶𝘁𝘀. 🤍

Each kit has what you need to make a fresh de-skunk solution at home:

🐾 Fresh 3% hydrogen peroxide
🐾 Pre-measured baking soda
🐾 Dawn dish soap
🐾 Gloves
🐾 Easy-to-follow instructions

I’ll have 𝙎𝙈𝘼𝙇𝙇 𝙏𝘼𝙄𝙇 kits for small-to-medium dogs and 𝘽𝙄𝙂 𝙏𝘼𝙄𝙇 kits for large/heavy-coated dogs.

And they’re 𝐅𝐑𝐄𝐄.

Yep. Free.

Because this feels less like something I want to sell and more like something I simply want our little dog community to have access to when they need it.

𝗗𝘂𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗱𝗮𝘆: message me and I’ll have one ready for you.

𝗔𝗳𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗵𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘀: I’ll have a weatherproof 𝗣𝗘𝗔𝗖𝗘 𝗢𝗨𝗧, 𝗣𝗘𝗣𝗘! box available by my house in the driveway so you can grab a kit even if I’m sleeping, away or unavailable
📍162 Dalton Ave., Tignish

And PLEASE remember this one thing:

🚨 𝗗𝗢 𝗡𝗢𝗧 𝗪𝗘𝗧 𝗢𝗥 𝗦𝗛𝗔𝗠𝗣𝗢𝗢 𝗬𝗢𝗨𝗥 𝗗𝗢𝗚 𝗙𝗜𝗥𝗦𝗧.

Use the kit on the 𝗗𝗥𝗬 𝗮𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗰𝗼𝗮𝘁 𝗳𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁.

And…

🎯 𝗙𝗜𝗡𝗗 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗙𝗨𝗡𝗞.

Treat where your dog was actually sprayed rather than unnecessarily spreading those skunk oils through clean coat.

Already panicked and wet or shampooed your dog?

Don’t panic.
Message me.
I can help with the next step. 🤍

No purchase necessary.
No need to be an existing Peace Of Tail client.

Just take what you need.

Maybe someday your dog will meet Pepe.

Hopefully they won’t. 😂

But if they do…

Well… that stinks.
I’ve got you. 🦨🐾🤍

Haven’t posted because I’ve been grooming dogs nonstop AND starting a new job from home.
Did not expect this level of demand😮‍💨

Fear not.
I’m pretty sure I’m nearing the bottom of the hill.
If not… we roll with it. 🐾😂

More to come once I’m at my mom’s for Christmas…
horizontal, overfed, and doing absolutely nothing productive on purpose. 🎄😌

2026 bookings?
Let’s just say… stretch first. 😌🐾
