Update! A bit long though!! ❤ Only because I love you all.
This week has been so great to get back to work and help out as many dogs as possible. I want to thank all my clients for being so kind during all of this and following my implemented distancing regulations. It really means a lot. I managed to up my daily goal for grooms this first week but I know there are many, many more in need. This got me thinking of how else I can help thoes who are going to be waiting for a while yet - or new clients reaching out for help that I am unable to accommodate right now.
I would like to offer a package geared towards your dog's personal needs. Some of you already have a couple grooming tools but might be missing the right tool for their current condition. Having the right tool or product for the vast variety of coat types and temperaments is the key to easier, more comfortable grooming! I can help and give you as much information as I can to set you in the right direction until I am able to get everyone in. I am able to put together specific shampoos, conditioners or spray designed for different needs *for example, dry skin, sensitive skin, itchiness, shedding, even options for owners with sensitivities but please note - this is not ideal for dogs who have excessive matting as giving them a bath will make those mats tighten up and get closer to the skin, causing further irritation/issues and larger mats forming*. This would be a packaged for one time use as my shop products are typically concentrated formulas and require the proper dilution to maximize effectiveness. I do have some options in my retail section in sealed, full 16oz bottles if you would like to use more often. I also have nail clippers, styptic powder, brushes, combs, dematting tools, deshed tools, demat/deshed spray and a cream for a wide variety of skin issues. The other option for the near future as a short term solution, is to have my current clients that are extremely matted, and still a long wait for an appt, or battling with other issues such as skin concerns - come in for just a straight shave with a nail trim/grind and send you home with the products you need for a bath. If there is enough clients interested in this, I would definitely be willing to make that happen! Your dog would have a 1 hour time slot, booked by appointment only, all of which would be on a single day - outside of my regular work week. Please know, this would not be a perfectly finished groom as it would be just enough to tide you over until the next appt. I can drumb up a more concrete plan for this, if there is a demand for it. However, I wouldn't feel hurt if everyone wants the beautiful groom their pup deserves ❤
Last but not least - I was so busy this week, I only managed to take 3 pictures, one of which was how big the plants got while I was closed 😂 I will try to do better next week because I know everyone loves to see them.
