Lots of you have already met me, BUT I think its time for me to reintroduce myself👋

My name is Alyssa, I’m the Owner/Operator of Sit'N Pretty Dog Grooming, The Next Generation. I’m 28 years old & I love everything dogs. 🐾

My services are:
●Dog grooming
●Nail trims & nail grinding
●Hair dye (specifically for animals)
●Bath & blowouts
●Ear cleaning

I’ve always had a big love for dogs, and growing up, I’ve always wanted to work with them. Well lucky me, I grew up in the grooming salon along side my gramma Kim, which alot of you know, who started Sit'N Pretty in 1985, and also who taught me A LOT over the last 28 years.

Being a little kid who loved dogs, and having a gramma who ran a grooming salon, I was eager to help out & started an apprenticeship. I started helping pick up dog hair, emptying garbages, passing her tools to her ect. As I got older, came more responsibility. Gramma was now teaching me how to bath, dry, and brush. She taught me all the different brushes; how to use them and how to make dogs nice and fluffy. By the time I was 12 or 13, I FINALLY had that clipper in my hand. I started pre-shaving. (If a dog has alot of hair, I pre-shave 1 blade longer than the final cut so I'm not wasting time bathing and drying all of that extra hair, and I still get a nice cut on the final shave).
Once gramma and I were comfortable with the work I was doing, I started to learn how to do feet, faces, ears, and tails. By the time I was 15 years old, I was doing full grooms.
In 2014 I attended college and was a PSW for 4 years, to see what life outside of grooming could offer me, but I always felt like something was missing in my life. So in March of 2018, at 20 years old, I got back into the grooming salon and started my business as Sit’N Pretty Dog Grooming, The Next Generation.

When im not at work, I love to Travel, spend time with my family, spend time with my 2 dogs Whiskey & Grimace and go to the gym (so I can lift all your big ass dogs LOL) 💪

I look forward to giving all your pets my love, attention and the best services 🐾🩷

Hey everyone! Just wanted to let everyone know that as of Monday July 29th, I will be on holidays until Septemeber 3rd! If you have any questions about your scheduled appointment, shoot me a msg on facebook and I will respond to it when I am back to work. Call or come into the shop, after September 3rd! I will try my best to get back to everyone as soon as possible!
