Our shelter is in dire need of unscented laundry detergent🐶🐱

As you can imagine - we go through multiple loads of laundry a day! If you are out and about and are able to bring a jug by, please visit our shelter at 1535 Rosslyn Road.

At just one year old, Florence recently found herself in our care due to a lifestyle change. Although she's only been with us for a few days this stunning girl is already showing us what a sweetheart she truly is.

She can be a little shy when meeting new people, but give her a bit of patience and you'll quickly discover her loving, playful personality. Once she's comfortable Florence enjoys spending time with her people and has plenty of affection to share.

Because we have a limited history on her, we're unsure how she'll do with other cats or dogs. With slow, proper introductions, she may do well with other animals who match her gentle personality.

Milo came to us after struggling to adjust to the arrival of a new baby in his previous home. Because of this, we're looking for a calm, quiet household where he can feel safe and settled. He would do best with a cat savvy adopter who understands feline body language and will let him set the pace.

As wildfires continue to devastate communities across Northern Ontario, we're working around the clock to help keep families and their pets together.

Thanks to a generous $28,500 grant from PetSmart Charities of Canada®, we're able to strengthen our relief efforts, ensuring pets and the people who love them have access to the care they need during this emergency.

Working alongside government agencies, emergency response teams, local municipalities, housing and social service providers, and animal welfare partners across the province, we're delivering emergency sheltering, pet food and supplies, veterinary care, temporary accommodations and other essential supports to those affected.

When people suffer during natural disasters, their pets suffer too, and this grant helps us be there for both when it matters most.
