Dog training at PetSmart includes classes for all levels and ages! Our accredited dog trainers teach positive reinforcement techniques in a fun, interactive environment.

Hi, I'm Amie! I'm excited to offer my professional pet care services to the Port Arthur community of Thunder Bay! While I've been dedicated to providing dog walking and pet sitting services since 2019, I recently moved to Thunder Bay in March 2025.

My commitment to understanding canine behaviour has led me to earn K9 Training & Behaviour certifications. 🐾 Meet Mikenna Dobson-Isidori – Your Trusted Dog Walker! 🐾

Hi, I’m Mikenna! I’ve dedicated my life to working with animals and serving my community. I share my home (and heart!) with four energetic huskies and two beautiful horses, so I truly understand the love and care our furry family members need.

With a degree in both business and biology, and a graduate diploma in nonprofit management, I bring a unique mix of professionalism and passion to everything I do. I’ve worked in veterinary clinics for years, gaining hands-on experience that goes beyond the average dog walker. I’m also proud to sit on the board of a rescue organization in southern Ontario and have supported the nonprofit community through my work with United Way of Thunder Bay.

My dream has always been to become a veterinarian — I was set to begin vet school in May 2025, but due to personal circumstances, I’ll now be starting in 2026. In the meantime, I’m channeling my love for animals into my dog walking services, offering reliable, knowledgeable, and compassionate care.

We're thrilled to announce that Evans Paws and Claws is now expanding our services to the vibrant Port Arthur area of Thunder Bay! If you're a pet parent in the neighborhood, we're here to provide top-notch care for your furry friends.

Our dedicated team offers a range of services to keep your pets happy and healthy. Whether it's daily walks, check ins, nail trims or pack walks we have you covered.

Services available include:
Puppy walks: We are offering a 30 minute, 1 on 1 visit for your puppy (up to 6 months old) with a walk focusing on basic leash training. Fee for this service is $25 a visit.

Private walks: Private walks are for dogs that may need special attention or get overwhelmed in groups. We have 3 time durations available: 30 minutes is $25, 45 minutes is $30, and 60 minutes is $35.

Semi private walks: This service is for multi pet households or dogs that may want to walk with an additional companion. We have 3 time durations available: 30 minutes is $20, 45 minutes is $25, and 60 minutes is $30.

We will be offering more services like pack walks in the coming months! Stay tuned 🙂
