The Alberta Shorthorn Association is excited to offer our fundraising hoodies and t-shirts, with proceeds going directly back into programs like our ASA 4-H Incentive Program.

This year has been incredible to see — with the same number of clubs participating, we’ve had a 21% increase in youth involvement! That means more kids getting involved with Shorthorn cattle, learning valuable skills, and becoming part of the agriculture community.

Your support through this fundraiser helps us continue to grow and support these opportunities for our juniors.

The Alberta Shorthorn Association would like to extend our deepest condolences to the family and friends of Don Savage.

Our thoughts and prayers are with his family during this difficult time as they celebrate a life well lived and a legacy that will not be forgotten.

We are excited to share the Grand Champion Steer from the Kneehill Valley 4-H Club!

This impressive Shorthorn × Simmental cross steer was shown by Lincoln and finished off at an outstanding 1600 pounds. Congratulations on a great project and an incredible achievement!

Thank you for sharing your Shorthorn cross with us. We love seeing youth showcasing the strength and versatility of Shorthorn genetics in their 4-H projects.

We’re excited to be adding something new to this year’s Fundraising Auction!

Along with our annual calendar, we’ll also have a selection of quality donated items up for bid. If you have an item you’d like to contribute, we’d love to hear from you—please reach out at [email protected]

Bidding will take place live in person following the AGM, but if you can’t make it, you can still be part of the action! Join us on the live Facebook feed, place a phone bid, or submit a proxy bid by emailing the office.
