Meet Milo 💙****Adopted****

Milo is a breathtaking 4-year-old purebred blue harlequin Great Dane searching for the fresh start he deserves. This sweet, handsome boy is neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccinations, docked tail ( due to happy tail), crate trained, and knows his basic commands.

Milo has had a rough beginning, and because of that, he is looking for an experienced, patient home that will continue to work with him and help him keep building confidence. He has so much love to give and so much potential in the right hands. With structure, understanding, and consistency, Milo is the kind of dog who can truly blossom.

He is used to small children, but as a big, excitable guy, he can accidentally knock them over when he gets enthusiastic. His compatibility with cats is unknown, and he will need slow, proper introductions to other dogs. A fenced yard would be a huge bonus for this gentle giant.

Milo is not looking for perfect. He is looking for someone willing to see his heart, give him a chance, and show him what a safe, forever home feels like.

It is with great sorrow that we announce the sudden passing of Aura. She was a lovely girl with a sweet temperament who fought bravely to overcome the challenges of years of neglect. When she first arrived, Aura was weak, severely emaciated, and frightened. Nevertheless, she demonstrated remarkable courage and made significant progress in her recovery, thanks to the selfless dedication of her foster family and Heather Van Huis , co-founder of the rescue. This morning, Aura underwent a routine spay procedure, but tragically, her body was unable to withstand the stress, and she did not survive. The circumstances surrounding her passing remain unclear. Please be assured that the clinic that performed the procedure was not at fault. Occasionally, the recovery process can be too demanding for an animal's fragile body. May Aura's memory be cherished, and may she finally be at peace.

Sweet Aura is now accepting applications. Her remarkable transformation and resilience have impressed us. Aura is a 4-year-old petite Great Dane and fully grown. She is scheduled to undergo spaying on January 16th, and provided her surgery and recovery progress smoothly, she will be ready to join her new family a week later. Aura interacts well with children, but due to her large size, she may inadvertently knock small kids down. She is fully house-trained and crate-trained. Given her past experiences, it is essential to supervise her when she is loose in the home. As some of you may know, Aura was previously used for breeding and was malnourished, which has led to counter-surfing issues. She requires reminders that she does not need to steal food. While Aura gets along with dogs of all sizes and genders, she will not back down in situations of dominance. However, she will not instigate conflicts and can be easily redirected. She has previously cohabited with cats without any issues. Aura behaves well on a leash and during car rides.
She will be spayed, fully vaccinated and microchipped before heading into her new life. She is currently fostered in blue mountains. Adoption fee applies.

Little Vader came to us with his 2 brothers. A tiny, skinny underweight fluff ball. We had no idea at the time just how small he was as he had a beautiful plush ALL BLACK coat. Over the past few weeks he's changing colours! Very unique and interesting! We have no idea on breed. But we suspect possibly maine c**n mix? Looking at those long ear hairs!

Aura is a beautiful 4-year-old Great Dane who has endured significant hardship. Following a recent breeding and subsequent separation from her puppies, she was relinquished by her previous owners. As the circumstances surrounding this decision are unclear, we kindly request that you refrain from speculation or criticism. Instead, we encourage you to focus on Aura's future and the opportunities that lie ahead.
Aura faces a challenging road to recovery, and we will be providing her with ongoing support and care. A forthcoming wellness check, scheduled for Saturday, will enable us to better understand the extent of her needs and develop an appropriate plan for her rehabilitation. We will provide updates on her progress as more information becomes available.
In the interim, we have initiated Aura's care regimen, which includes multiple small meals, satin balls, and a nurturing environment designed to facilitate her physical and emotional recovery.

Meet Grimm!
Grimm is a sweet 7 month old male Boston terrier mix. He is good with other dogs, crate trained, house trained (98% he's still a puppy) and does ok on a leash!
Grimm loves everyone he meets. He's good with kids of all ages and other dogs. He has lived with cats.
Grimm goes for his neuter, microchip and vaccines today and will be ready to meet his new family in a few days once he heals from surgery!
Grimm's adoption fee is $750
