Today’s kitty spotlight- Buffalo Bites

Whether you are in the mood for a late night snack, or a full plate of delicious finger foods for supper, this is your go-to girl!!! She will also be standing on your plate, eating any yummy snack she can get her little paws on! Buffalo Bites is as sweet as they come! But, she acts as though she is shy! This is not the case!! This little 6 month old kitten, once she is comfortable in her new setting, will show you that she loves to be pet, that she loves to get her belly rubbed, and that she loves you for giving her wet food treats!! She gets so excited for snack time, that she gets “pine-cone” tail! This is what we call it when their entire tail poofs up out of excitement! If you are looking for a little best buddy to add to your game night finger food endeavours, choose Buffalo Bites!!

Today’s kitty spotlight- Folktale and Fable

Pull up a plush bed, and tell us a tail!!! One filled with sweet girls, catnip mice, treats in abundance, and a warm and cozy spot to curl up in!! This tail will be told for many years to come, as these ladies are right around 8 months old, and full of adorable cuddles! Eager to play, love the company of other kitties, prancing around our feet, and relaxed, these sweet girls have it all!

They are not a bonded pair, and would happily enjoy the company of any other kitty they meet!

Adoption fee-$200/kitty

Today’s kitty spotlight- She loves me not

Or does she…..the verdict is in, and she……..does!!! No more wasted flower petals, it’s official, she loves all of us! Our amazing socializing crew spent many months on this beautiful, large girl, and her brother, who has since been transferred and adopted! We are thrilled to say She most definitely loves us!! She will need a few days adjustment period in her new forever home, but we are confident that we have built her trust in humans, and that her new forever home will be the happiest to reap the cuddly rewards of this sweet girl!! She is just over a year old, and definitely a big kitten! This little cub is ready to meet her forever hoomans!

Today’s kitty spotlight- Awww, look at her, and Cutie-Patootie

Just as their names describe, these two girls are adorable!! Beautiful markings and unique color patterns on these darling ladies! Both of these girls enjoy other kitties, and very much love wet food! They may be a bit shy at first, but they love being pet, and enjoy in cuddling!! These sisters are not bonded, but would enjoy the company of other kitties in their forever homes! They are right around 8 months old, and ready to meet their forever hoomans!

We are absolutely blown away by the incredible support for our Townwide Yard Sales in Tilbury and Thamesville last weekend! Because of your generosity, shopping, and donations, we raised an amazing amount of money:

Tilbury raised: $921.85

Thamesville raised: $780.00

💰 Grand Total: $1,701.85!!!

Every single dollar raised is going directly toward the medical care of three new kitties we recently welcomed into our care. All three of these sweethearts are in desperate need of dental surgery to have their teeth removed so they can finally live pain-free.

Whether you donated items, hunted for treasures, or spread the word, you made this happen. Us and the cats are incredibly grateful for this amazing community support. We are also thankful to the wonderful volunteers who ran the yard sales, Kim, Pierre, Verna, Jess and Michelle!

Today’s kitty spotlight- Leave the Gun(f), Take the Cannoli(m)

We are gonna make you an offer you cannot refuse.
A pair of familia have arrived in town and are ready for adoption.
Leave the Gun and Take the Cannoli are as thick as thieves. They will bribe your hearts with cuddles and kindness and then while you’re out for a stroll they might be sneaking the odd treat when they can. They put the cat in cat-hoots!
But easy, you’ll be sleeping with them, not the fishes… speaking of fishes, they know just the place to pick some up, on the sly.

These two are not a bonded pair, and would enjoy any kitty they meet!

You may also recognize this sweet ginger boy, from our fundraising efforts. Because of the injuries he came into the rescue with, Take the Cannoli needed, and received a leg amputation. He is feeling fantastic, and 3 legs does not slow him down!

Today’s kitty spotlight- Merry-go-round

Spirited, playful, fun-loving, and a bit shy, Merry-go-round is such a treat! This girl will chase her feather toy around, and around, and around again! Add a catnip mouse, and she is in heaven! She may be a bit shy at first in her new space, but with treats, she comes around quickly. Some slow pets, and treats in hand, she will trust her new hoomans in no time! This beautiful girl is right around 2 years old, and ready for her forever home!

Today’s kitty spotlight- Big Chungus

How did we get his name, you may ask? Some of our youthful volunteers named him! They also call him a Biggy, as he eats a lot! We smiled, and nodded, and pretended we knew the lingo these youths are now using!! You may recall Big Chungus from our fundraising efforts, as he needed a dental. We are very thankful to all of our donors, because we raised enough for all of our big surgeries coming up! Big Chungus has had his dental, and is healing nicely! His teeth are no longer bothering him, and he has no problem hoovering up his kibble, and slurping his wet food! This handsome, giant-cheeked boy is right around 11 years old, and ready to be indoors enjoying all the wet food his heart desires!!

Adoption fee-$200
This includes neuter, rabies, fvrcp for the year, deworm, flea, and microchip.
