Today’s kitty spotlight- Peach Cobbler, Blueberry Streusel, Banana Bread, Apple Crisp

A little note from their foster mom!!!

This sweet bunch of babies isn’t just your average fruit basket! They are full of love, joy, and energy! Peach is the momma of the crew, and such a sweetheart. She’s more than happy to cuddle up in your lap, or rub against you waiting for her breakfast. She enjoys being held, and is the sweetest peach in the orchard. Next up is her mini me, and only girl, Blueberry! She started out as the smallest of the three, but has grown into a confident leader, and is the first to try out any new toys that come her way! She is always ready for a zoom around the room, and plays all day. Apple, and Blueberry are partners in crime. Apple is always plotting his next pounce, and enjoys a quick snuggle before he’s on the move again. He is the first to greet you at the door, and is ready to be picked for his next adventure. Banana is the chillest little monkey around. He enjoys being a lone fruit or hanging out with his mom. Banana is the calmest, and cuddliest of the crew, and is always up for a nap up under your neck. This kit(ten) is bananas b-a-n-a-n-a-s!

Today’s spotlight- Nessa

🐾 Meet Nessa! 🐾
This gorgeous, 1 year old, Australian Shepherd is ready to find her perfect forever home!

Nessa is spayed, microchipped, and fully up to date on vet care. She came into care with some mild reactivity (mostly food-related), but she’s made incredible progress. With e-collar training and confidence building, her food guarding has improved so much — she just needed a little structure and reassurance!

Her recall is amazing, she has her basic commands down pat, and she’s great with other dogs, cats, and kids. Nessa would thrive in a home with another friendly dog and an active person or family who’ll keep her mind and body busy. She’s crazy smart, athletic, and eager to please — the perfect candidate for agility, dock diving, or even herding work.

Nessa truly is one of those “once-in-a-lifetime” dogs — full of heart, personality, and potential. Her foster mom adores her and wants to make sure she finds a home that appreciates just how special she is. 💛

If you’re looking for your next adventure buddy (and maybe a future sport star!), Nessa might be your girl!

𝐓𝐇𝐀𝐍𝐊 𝐘𝐎𝐔 𝐅𝐎𝐑 𝐀 𝐆𝐑𝐄𝐀𝐓 𝐀𝐃𝐎𝐏𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍 𝐖𝐄𝐄𝐊𝐄𝐍𝐃!!!😄

This weekend we were at the Chatham Pet Valu with some of our adoptable kitties and what an amazing time we had!💗💗

We had 5 cats and kittens get adopted! We are beyond excited to see some of our lovely babies go to such caring homes and get to know the adopters. Between us and what the fosters do for our kitties, we pour a lot of care and love into our cats so we are always grateful when we get to see them go to homes that will give them the quality of life they so deserve!!😸

We also got so many donations from members of the community that even if they couldn't take a kitty home with them, they still felt inclined to help us out! ❤️

Events like these are so important to rescues like ours because we get to engage with the community, talk about our mission, and of course show off a few of the many feline friends we help in hopes to get them into their fur-ever homes. So, a big thank you to our valued friends at Pet Valu like Rhonda, Sid and everyone else there who is always so positive and lovely to work with!!!😻😻

And of course thank you to our team of fosters who care and love their kitties so so very much that people just couldn't resist their snuggles at the event! We couldn't help as many as we do without our wonderful community supporting us.

We're extremely grateful for all the support and can't wait till our next event we do! 🫶🫶

Back in my day I loved a good game of Euchre, a crisp bowl of popcorn, and a handful of peanuts! I tell ya, now I like a good brushing, some tuna, and some belly rubs from my favourite youth! Am I old? No, I’m only about 1.5 years old, but I’m an old soul!! I am a shy man, who will need a quiet home, with someone willing to let me adjust. Once I trust you, I will be your bestest boy!! I will rub up on your legs, sn**ch treats from your hand, and keep your lap warm! I am looking for my someone to grow old with!

𝐖𝐎𝐖! 𝐘𝐎𝐔 𝐆𝐔𝐘𝐒 𝐑𝐎𝐂𝐊!
The 🦷Save The Gums, Name The Bums🦷 fundraiser ended on Oct 7th and we couldn't be happier with everyone that donated and the names you all chose! Because of everyone's enthusiasm with this fundraiser we decided to extend it! So far we have raised...🥁*drumroll please*🥁 $̲𝟷̲̲𝟼̲̲𝟻̲𝟶̲!!!! What an amazing turnout, this money goes directly to helping pay for the tooth extractions for 6 kitties with stomatitis!

We still have some kitties needing names from our previous posts so we've put them all here for anyone who has a wonderful name they've been waiting on! If you missed your chance earlier to name a kitty in care now's the time to! Have someone in your life you want to honour? A past pet? Or maybe you've always really liked the name Fluffy but just never had a cat floofy enough for it.

Today’s kitty spotlight- Tuna Tataki, Crab Roe Salad, Black Dragon Roll

Can anyone guess what we had on hand when we trapped these 3 ladies??? Sardines, of course!!! But, trapping these 3 girlies called for celebration, so sushi it was!! Then the work began! Getting these girls back to health, and showing them that they deserve a life full of love, lots of play, and warm beds to call their own! These sisters are right around 4.5 months old, and ready to be in their forever homes!

Today’s kitty spotlight- Pancetta, Guanciale, Prosciutto

Say it with me now…..yummmmmmmy!!!! These three boys are deeeeliciously cute! Sweet now, salty at first, but with the most delicate flavour!! Trust us, we’ve kissed every inch of their faces!! Wide eyes, cute noses, and big purrs! When they first arrived, they played hard to get, but with some patience, and lots of treats, these boys are understanding what I’m-a-eat-ya means! Are they missing some fur on their faces from being kissed so much? I mean, sure! They still will need an adjustment period in their new homes, but we do not think it’ll take long for these boys to find your lap, and live in it! They are right around 5.5 months old, and ready to be shared!

Today’s kitty spotlight- Roly Poly Cannoli and Ricotta

She’s roly! She’s poly! She’s a crispy, creamy cannoli!! And, she came stuffed with the BEST type of filling…Baby Ricotta!! We couldn’t get Roly Poly Cannoli off our laps when she first arrived at the rescue! Cannoli is a very dainty dame, and she is just coming up to 1 year old! She enjoys attention, and is the sweetest little miss! Well…besides Ricotta! Ricotta may be the sweetest, but boy is she food aggressive! For a little 9 week old girl, she rules the snack plate! Oh, is there still a bit of treat left in the licky tube? And, you are thinking you need to squeeze the rest onto the plate? Forget it, and run, if you want your fingers in tact!! This little girl will hold her own, so watch out mama Cannoli!
