20% Perennial Rye Grass, 20% Orchard Grass, 20% Kentucky Blue Grass, 20% Timothy and 20% Creeping Red Fescue
What are all these different types of grasses?
》Perennial Rye Grass - A highly palatable & nutritious forage
》Orchard Grass - Provides moderate energy to horses, is highly palatable and has a soft texture. Orchard grass is also an excellent source of fiber
》Kentucky Blue Grass - Highly palatable & nutrient-dense. Kentucky Blue grass is also very winter-hardy
》Timothy - High in fiber, moderate in protein, and low in sugar. Timothy is a commonly used forage type for horses as it provides excellent nutrition and supports healthy digestion, weight management, and excels for horses with metabolic issues
》Creeping Red Fescue - An extremely shade tolerant grass, that handles hoof traffic well, meaning it won't struggle to grow back as horses graze on it in the pasture
