NorthStar Genetics Grass Seed is now in stock !! 🌱

Available in both 10lb & 50lb bags, this is a great time to plant some seed now that we have moisture in the ground and the temperatures haven't reached scorching yet☀️

Tips for growing grass from seed:
🌿Start with a weed-free seeding bed
🌿Loosen up compacted soil with a rake or tiller to ensure the grass seed is in good contact with the soil for the best germination rate
🌿Distribute grass seed as evenly as possible to prevent over or under seeding
🌿Ensure you have an adequate seeding distribution rate so that your grass is not bare or patchy once it grows in
🌿Rake soil lightly overtop of the seed once planted
🌿Water every day when it is cooler outside (early morning or evening)

If you've never heard of either of these products:
》Happy Flock is a combination of black soldier fly larvae, black sunflower seed, wheat & corn
》Nature's Grubs is pure black soldier fly larvae

Both products are excellent treats for your chickens. Not only are these treats high in protein to give your chickens a boost in both their overall protein & calcium, but that means it promotes fast feather regrowth, muscle development, and stronger, thicker egg shells. Its Spring and the frost is gone, so you know what that means!
Hint; It's Deworming!!🐛😉

Why should you de-worm your livestock?
Different types of worms can cause a variety of health issues in your livestock. Worms can cause weight gain or loss, weakened immune systems, and decreases in production, among many other things. Deworming helps keep your animals healthy, happy, and producing to the best of their abilities!

We carry a wide range of dewormers, including dewormers for chickens, horses, and cows

Horses 🐎
》It is best to deworm your horse with rotating ingredients every time you deworm. Parasites don't always get fully eliminated during deworming, and with continuous use of the same deworming ingredient, they build up an immunity to it and the dewormer becomes uneffective
》Each ingredient will get rid of a different variety of worms
》Fenbendazole
》Ivermectin
》Pyrantel Pamoate
》Moxidectin

Chickens & Turkeys 🐣
》Piperazine Dihydrochloride is a powder that gets added to the food or water for one day only to deworm chickens effectively
》Effectively eliminates roundworms in your poultry

Cows 🐄
》Cow dewormer involves the use of a pour-on liquid rather than an injectable or oral dosing
》Ivermectin is most commonly used to control worms in cattle herds

Swine 🐖
》Piperazine Dihydrochloride is also used for pigs and is put in their food or water for one day only
》Controls roundworms and nodular worms

Consult a veterinarian prior to deworming if your livestock have pre-existing medical conditions
