Our dedicated dog handler is here to provide personalized attention, ensuring your furry friend thrives in our exclusive 'Members Only' daycare. Doggy Doolil, established in 2005, is Surrey, BC's trusted destination for professional dog training and daycare. As a certified behavioral dog trainer, the owner operates a unique members-only service that ensures a safe, consistent, and structured envi

ronment for all dogs in our care. Our services go beyond standard daycare, as we focus on teaching proper boundaries and behaviors to help dogs transition these skills into their home lives. We manage up to 20 dogs daily, fostering socialization and play in a kennel-free, crate-free facility. Our approach is grounded in the philosophy that dogs need structure, rules, boundaries, and plenty of time for fun and exercise. By creating an environment that prioritizes both learning and play, Doggy Doolil helps dogs overcome issues related to grief, fear, and rage, turning those challenges into positive growth. We offer a safe retreat for dogs who need a break from long, lonely days at home or maybe underfoot in busy households. What sets Doggy Doolil apart is our commitment to maintaining a healthy and safe space for our members. Our daycare facility has air purifiers to ensure excellent air quality, and our turf is designed for maximum cleanliness and comfort. As a licensed and insured business, we are fully equipped to handle dogs of all breeds and sizes with the utmost care and attention. Our no-kennel, no-crate policy ensures that dogs can roam freely and engage with each other naturally and stress-free. Safety is a top priority, with first aid certification and careful oversight from our experienced staff. The membership-based model allows us to limit exposure to a select group of dogs, which helps maintain a harmonious environment for play and socialization. We encourage new members to join our community and see the benefits of our specialized training and daycare services. Whether you're looking for a safe place for your dog to spend the day or want to ensure they receive top-notch training, Doggy Doolil is where care, seek, and play make grief, fear, and rage disappear. Visit us and give your dog the gift of socialization, training, and fun in a safe, supportive setting.

This is why I don't allow this breed into our daycare. It only happens with this breed as well, as far as I am aware. I have never in my life heard another breed kill his owner, especially while being fed. Such a tragedy.

A chaotic and gruesome scene unfolded in Compton Friday morning after a man who was breeding pit bulls was mauled to death in his own backyard. According to ...

Contractors on the block over took out our power and internet today. Hydro has shut off our street due to power cables hanging. Might be an issue picking up the dogs. Will keep you posted.

Dog behavioralists have often compared dogs to toddlers. I tend to agree more than disagree...You ever notice how your dog follows you from room to room—even if you're just grabbing socks? Or how they whine the moment you're out of sight, as if their world just tilted?
Science says that’s not just sweet... it’s deeply emotional.
A recent study found that dogs react to separation much like human toddlers. They don’t just miss us—they need us. We’re their safe place when things feel scary, their anchor when the world feels too big.
It turns out, we’re not just pet owners. We’re their family. Their home. Their heart.
So the next time they wait outside the bathroom door or curl up beside your shoes while you're gone… remember, it's not neediness. It's love, pure and simple.
And honestly? We should all be so lucky to be loved like that. 🐾

Our Story

Doggy DooLil Daycare. Established in 2005 A rare and unique place to discover for you and your pet. We have relocated to Bridgeview by the Patullo Bridge. We are fully fenced and secure. We have installed Pet Pro synthetic turf and the dogs love it and I love how clean they are. Our hours are now 6 am to 6 pm staring April 2019, and are excited about spring and more sunshine. We have a small regular group of members that come once, twice or three times a week, as well as full timers, and they are the core to our member pack. Only healthy, friendly pets need apply. With the new dog fit-bit, we have discovered that the dogs run an average of 15 km a day here at Doggy DooLil. So it's a great health benefit for most dogs that can't sit still. And a great way to stimulate the mind of an older lonely dog. Puppies have a great pack to teach them good social graces and that makes potty training a breeze. Our group is only 15 dogs a day, and they follow good rules and boundaries within our home and out in the yard, so no bad habits will follow them home. We work on barking daily and want to have a harmonious and calm play time. Some basic training is recommended for membership, but we do offer the combo daycare and training for those dogs that don't have the time or opportunity given to them. We accept Visa, Am/Ex, MC and Discover card as well as Cash, Cheque and Online Transfers. Pack Leader Obedience - I have taught pack leadership since 2011 and I am Certified in Obedience training from Canadian Institute of Professional dog trainers, by Master trainer and behaviourist - Tony Parker. I have also received certification in a behaviour course called ‘Animal emotions’ and it has helped me understand and read body language and to recognise stress and fear in dogs, and how to help them. My style of training is a little bit of this and a little bit of that. I took what I learned from Tony Parker and Cesar Milan and all the books on the subject, including the years of handling dogs in daycare, and came up with my own style of teaching you...not the dog, how to lead and instruct your dog on what you want from the dog. I am an avid Cesar Milan fan, and I lead my pack with the same calm and assertive energy as he does. I've even been called a dog whisperer. My passion is teaching you how to communicate with your dog. Tail talking all the way up to a wink or a stare. What is he trying to say? I'll also share with you some new techniques that make leading a pack of dogs a breeze. Do you want control of the walk and get your favourite chair back with a simple growl and patience? I'll show you how to do it without the stress and argument. We are Pet First Aid certified from Walks n Wags Pet First Aid, as well as licensed and insured for the protection of your pet. So sniff us out, and come on...give the dog a bone. :)
