💕 It’s a bittersweet day today! Raven found the most beautiful forever home 🐾. She will be living the life near the beach, the forest and a fur brother Beau. It was a beautiful privilege to have fostered her for 3 months and we wish her new family the bestest forever with her. Thank you to for trusting us again with her and for all you do for all the pups.

It’s that time of year again when we celebrate being in our community for another year...this being our 13th! We will be hosting our business partners, our community friends and putting on a good ole’ party all in the efforts of raising money for animal rescue. A quick guide to feeding cooked prepared food.
We understand that sometimes an owner wishes to feed their dog real food but may be concerned about feeding it raw or when your dog is transitioning to real food, cooking it is a great option.
The 3 main components that make real food complete and nutritious are the meat, the organs and the source of calcium. Most brands will use ground bones as that source, raw bones are completely safe, but some brands will use a calcium supplement such as egg shells which makes it cookable. If you are cooking and feeding immediately there isn’t a strict need to make sure it cooked throughly. If you are cooking days at a time then it should be cooked throughly. Once it’s cooked it is good for 3 days in the fridge.
If a cooked real food diet is of interest to you we are more than happy to help.
In this photo I am cooking Beef full meal from to aid Gary’s transition to raw. Cooking it makes it a bit easier to digest and reduces the amount of fat but still provides all the nutrition he needs. 💕

Gary’s sister, Taba, made it to Canada too! She is currently in foster in Port Coquitlam and is looking for her forever home.
Currently 12lbs and small terrier mix with perhaps whippet. Approximately 3-4months old.
She’s been health checked, dewormed and is as smart as a whip!

We’ve been raising Raven and she’s is aaaaammmmmaaaazzzziiinnng!
We will be so happy if she gets the most perfect home. Please share and help her find a family that will just snuggle her cause that is her love language.

Meet Raven – a sweet 5.5-month-old bully mix who has already made amazing progress. She started off shy, but with lots of love and confidence-building from her foster family, she’s really coming out of her shell.

Raven loves sunshine, swimming, and exploring. She’s looking for a home that can offer her both calm support and plenty of space to adventure. She would thrive in a home where someone is home more often than not, as she continues building trust and confidence.

Raven could do well with a confident male dog who can help her feel safe and show her how great the world can be. She may also be a good match for a dog-savvy cat and older children who will respect her boundaries and let her grow at her own pace.

This lovely girl will make a loyal companion for someone who understands that shy dogs often become the most rewarding friends once they trust you.
