Tattoos are an easy way to determine whether a found animal is a stray or has a loving home that may be missing them. Because tattoos are placed in the ear, they are easily visible to anyone that finds a pet. The tattoo is made up of letters and numbers that link back to the veterinary clinic that created the tattoo. The clinic can then contact the owner.
Because of this it is very important to keep your contact information up to date at the vet that performed your pets tattoo!

What does it mean to get your pet microchipped?
Contrary to popular belief, microchips do not track your pets location.
Instead, they hold your contact information so it is able to be pulled up if your pet ever got lost. Any vet clinic or shelter will have a microchip reader that is able to scan the number of the chip. With this number we are than able to search the microchip database and find out where your pet belongs and give you a call!

So microchips are an easy way to find and contact owners if the pet ever got lost or brought into a clinic/ shelter.

Laser therapy and acupuncture are gentle treatment options that can help reduce pain, improve mobility, and support healing in pets. These therapies are often used for conditions like arthritis, injuries, neurologic issues, and post-surgical recovery.

If your pet is experiencing pain, stiffness, or mobility changes, these treatments may help improve their comfort and quality of life. Ask our team if laser therapy or acupuncture could benefit your pet! 🐾

What kind of collar does your cat wear?

We always recommend breakaway collars for our feline friends. Whether they are indoor only or go outdoors as well, breakaway collars are always the safer option.

Collars that don't open are a risk for getting caught on the environment when cats jump and pose a risk for strangulation.
