❤️ Community Fundraising Initiative ❤️

Thank you to everyone who has been supporting our small rescue, whether that's through following, sharing, fostering, adopting, donating, or simply cheering us on!

Each dog and cat we help is possible because of our community, and we are now exploring creative ways to help fund our work through community-led fundraising.

If you have quality furniture, musical instruments, household items, or other products you no longer use, we would love it if you would consider selling them and donating a portion of the proceeds to help us save more animals in need.

Together, we can turn unused items into food, veterinary care, transportation, and second chances for rescue dogs. 🐾❤️

As a starting point, I am selling my Yamaha Arius digital piano, with a portion of the proceeds supporting the dogs in our care. If you or someone you know is looking for a quality piano, please feel free to copy the link in the comments.

We'd also love to hear your ideas. If you've seen creative fundraising initiatives that work well for other rescues or community organizations, please let us know! ❤️

❤️ Brownie Update ❤️

We have been overwhelmed by the incredible response to Brownie!

Thank you to everyone who shared her story, sent messages, and expressed interest in giving her a loving home.

We are happy to share that Brownie has found a safe and loving place to land. ❤️

This said, the response to Brownie showed us something important… there are many people willing to open their hearts to dogs like her.

As we explore opportunities to help more small and medium-sized dogs find loving homes, we'd love to hear from anyone who is open to fostering, foster-to-adopt or direct adoption.

We'd love to start building a community of people ready to help when the next dog needs us. 🐾❤️

In memory of Jesse Adams ❤️

We were saddened to learn of the passing of Jesse Adams, founder of RainCoast Dog Rescue Society, who lost his life while helping rescue animals in Ukraine.

While we did not know Jesse personally, we applaud the dedication, courage, and compassion it takes to devote your life to helping animals in need. You are our hero.

For every animal you saved, thank you. For every life still to be saved, we will do our best 🐾

🇨🇦 From Vancouver to Thailand 🇹🇭

Three weeks from today, I'll be heading back to Thailand.

A few years ago, I spent a month there and fell in love with the country. This time, I'm going back with a different purpose: to learn more about hands-on rescue work, help dogs in need, and bring what I learn back to support the dogs in our care at Baibao Rescue ❤️🐾

I'm looking forward to sharing the experience along the way!

Once you meet Luna, it's hard not to love her!

Last weekend, Luna stole hearts at our adoption events, made some new friends, and reminded everyone why she's so special.

She may not walk like other dogs, but that doesn't slow her down one bit. Luna is full of personality, loves people, loves attention, and has a way of leaving a lasting impression on everyone she meets.

Luna is still looking for her forever home. She does have special needs and requires extra care, but the person lucky enough to welcome her into their family will gain one incredible companion.
