The 2026 Red Ridge Farm 'I Can Event' competition is a wrap! Wow, what a super day thanks to a cracker jack team of volunteers including timers, the ring crew, cross country and stadium judges, warmup ring steward, in and out gate attendants, score sheet runner, scribe for the dressage judge, and spectators who jumped in to help, just to name a few. The show truly couldn't run without you. Our show Secretary, Irene Guenzel, worked behind the scenes for many weeks leading up to the show and is a total rock star! Maggie's Morsels (Maggie MacKay and Travis Burke) cooked up delicious hotdogs and hamburgers (nothing like good burger on show day!) and had cold drinks to keep us fuelled and hydrated. Our distinguished officials, Danielle Semel (jump official) and Sharron Piazza (dressage judge) kept everything safe, running on time and ensured our Equestrian Nova Scotia, Scotia Series sponsored event, supported athletes to achieve personal success. Medina Banks, owner of Donovani Photography, probably ran the equivalent of a marathon on the cross country field to get what will no doubt be amazing pictures. Congratulations to all of the athletes and their equine partners🥳! Your great riding and sportsmanship were impressive. Competitors travelled from as far away as Meteghan (3hrs) and another had trailer issues on the way but, thanks to some good samaritans and her determination, she made it.

I could go on and on.....there aren't enough words to express our gratitude but THANK YOU ALL❤️!

Our first Dressage Test Schooling Clinic was a success!! I’ve never participated in one of these but I learned so much and based on the feedback from the other participants, we all took away very valuable and practical tips to improve our dressage thanks to Sharron Piazza who shared her knowledge and experience from a dressage judge’s perspective. Thank you to everyone who participated and made it a super fun day of learning. More to come in 2027 for both english and western dressage riders😀

That's a wrap for Red Ridge Farm's 2025 ICE competition! We are so grateful for all the support we received this year from our volunteers who are the backbone of our events (you all rock!); sponsors including Greenhawk, The Flying Apron, Dylan McCormack Equine Massage Therapy, Brooklyn Village Garden Centre and Rowan Wood Stables, Valley Equine Clinic; our show secretary, Irene Guenzel who is just an amazing human and magically pulls everything together; our esteemed officials Roz Moskovitz and Danielle Semel; our provincial equestrian sport organizations, Equestrian Nova Scotia and Horse Trials Nova Scotia; and of course the competitors who make the journey to compete at Red Ridge Farm.....THANK YOU🙏!

Words cannot express the invaluable experience I had, as a coach participant, in the Lucinda Green Two Day Exceed Cross Country Masterclass clinic at Glen Oro Farm in Orillia Ontario. I'm so excited to incorporate, what I've learned first hand from one of Eventing's biggest legends, into my coaching program at Red Ridge Farm and also into my own training as a competitor. Thank you to the Ontario Eventing Association for organizing, to Glen Oro Farm for hosting at your beautiful facility and to the Eventing community for making us feel so welcome.

What a great day at Red Ridge Farm's Combined Event! As many of you know, this was our first time hosting and we are so thankful for the many people who made this day a success. So many people volunteered their time leading up to, and during the show. I've always been on the competitor side of these competitions but hosting is another ball game entirely. The success of our event is because of the volunteers, period. You guys rock!

A big thank you to the competitors, who showcased great riding and made for a safe, fun filled day. Congratulations to you all!
