This pen has a Breast Cancer Awareness theme. It is turned from purpleheart and polished to a high sheen and the hardware is plated 24k gold.
The price on this pen is $40 of which $5 will be donated to the Island Run for the Cure fund raiser.

Hi all, I am literally blown away by the gracious reactions expressed on the items we have posted to date particularly on the PEI Crafters On line FB page well worth checking out to see all the products available here on the Island.
Concerning questions on cat pens, I checked my (at present) meager inventory and have the supplies for two cat pens; one in Antique Pewter and the other in Chrome.
You also have the choice of wood we now have available: roasted birds eye maple (an example of which you can see in the measuring spoons posted earlier), roasted curly maple (my favorite) and purpleheart, your call!!
As we are 'shaking' this adventure out please be patient and know that your comments, questions etc. will be addressed. The CEO, CFO and Quality Assurance Manager works full time and looks after the house, the pets and me - no small order especially the last in the list.
So please know that your comments, questions, will get a response

For the cat lovers! This pen is turned from purple heart which has been polished to a high sheen and hi-lighted by 24k gold (plated) hardware. Part of this exercise for us is fund raising for the animal rescue folks so to that end 10% of the price will be donated; probably not a big amount but these days every nickel counts!! Tell us what you think.

I am hoping to get some help from you folks.
As I mentioned in a previous post, I got started in this exercise as a way to get away from being glued to cable news and use my time more productively and positively by turning items such as Christmas presents for friends and family.
After posting some items on the PEI Crafters Online Fair FB page, I was very pleasantly surprised with the positive reaction - I would strongly recommend checking this page out since it gives a tremendous picture of what artisans are producing here across the Island and elsewhere!!
I am left with the question as to what folks would like see produced, what are your ideas, do you have items you might be interested in etc.? Some folks have suggested seam rippers, measuring spoons, measuring cups and so on. This feedback is more than helpful for me since I obviously can plan better and focus on supply chain issues; so please don't be shy!!!
Also, myself and other crafters would greatly benefit from folks sharing posts as much as possible since as I mentioned previously, I blew my promotion budget on an extra large Timmies!!
You can probably tell from this lengthy post that the CEO is sleeping and won't be able to vet the post before I hit the 'enter' button!

This is a pen I turned for a very special lady (my mother-law) as a Christmas present. Th wood is purpleheart, polished to a high gloss and I I think is a nice match for 24k gold hardware!

I turned these measuring spoons as a Christmas gift for a special lady and tremendous cook!! The wood is roasted birds eye maple and a joy to work with!! The spoons are 1/4 tsp., 1/2 tsp., 1 tsp and 1 tbsp; the spoons can be screwed out of handle for washing. From feedback the spoons have a great feel and are polished to a high sheen

This is the rest of the crochet hook package. The handle is polished purple heart and also can be used as hook storage if you wish; just gently twist hook out, reverse it and gently twist it back in!! Other types of wood are available. Please Message me if you have any questions and since I figured out how to post photos (finally!!) more are on the way, so please take a minute and let me know what you think.

Why this page and why now?
This is my antidote to all the wackiness and foolishness currently going on everywhere around the world!! In a sense, I can control the amount of info coming at me.
Right after the election in the USA, I decided enough is enough so I retreated to my work shop (long unused), dusted off and adjusted some of my equipment and started turning some Christmas presents including measuring spoons, pens, crochet kits etc.
I was pleasantly surprised at the reaction to my work so the boss and I decided to 'take the show on the road'; so here we are.
I promised the boss to keep my posts short (not sure why she was so adamant about this so....)!!
