As always, it was a long week at the Winter Fair but we’re glad we got a few young horses out to their first show!

🔹Boulder Bluff Spice It Up made her show ring debut on the left lead of the blue wagon.
🔹Boulder Bluff Lady Gaga made her debut in the left wheel of the white wagon.
🔹We didn’t get any clips of Boulder Bluff Conway Twitty, but he rocked it in the Ladies Team Class and then went right back in and took it down a notch to let Sawyer drive him in Junior Team.

We were very proud to have won the Champion Six Horse Hitch, combined with West Oak Acres.

It was a fun victory lap, taking a young man for his first wagon ride. Before getting off he said, “I’d like to do that again!”

We were also very proud that 10 of the 12 Clydesdales in the ring during the Four Horse Hitch were raised right here at Boulder Bluff. We are forever grateful for the support of our breeding program!

Naeric Draft Horse Classic Futurity & Sale

This past weekend our hearts broke as we said goodbye to one of the pillars in our breeding program! At 20 years old Major had a very short fight with cancer and was laid to rest before he began to suffer.

Towerview Major Attraction stood as a breeding stallion at Boulder Bluff for 16 years, arriving at 2 and retiring at 18, producing some exceptional offspring. He produced world champions and many successful hitch horses as well as some very competitive halter horses. His daughters that we have retained for our own breeding program all carry alot of his great traits, his sweet temperment and have such natural mothering instincts. They have grown into strong producers themselves giving us some fantastic foals over the years.

Over the last two years Major has been retired from breeding and has lived the lavish life of a pasture pet! Major will be missed in our program but his legacy will live on through his progeny!

He was part of a horse drawn Tramway at Disneyland, in Anaheim California!
