Bean offering a morning stretch.
Please don't let a bit of shyness with strangers put you off of checking out this beautiful girl for adoption.
Despite a rough start being born outdoors and not socialized to people for the first couple months of her life, Bean is a sweet, loveable, curious girl. She is not at all aggressive, preferring to get out of situations she doesn't like with strategic wiggling and contortions rather than teeth or claw.
Bean really doesn't like being picked up (though we are working on that...sometimes you just have to pick them up), or confined behind doors. She also doesn't like being petted if she's not expecting it.
However, she will follow me around the apartment, curious about what I'm doing and what there is to see and do. She likes to follow the movement on the tv, watch the birds and squirrels out the window, check up on me in the bathroom, and stick her head under the running faucet in the sink. She has also tried to check out the dishwasher and fridge from the inside. ;)
In the evening she comes to be with me on the couch, demanding pets and affection, sometimes jumping up for a cuddle and a nap on my legs, ramping up her purr to a full rumble.
She adores her sister Chickpea and naps with her on the bed, grooms her, and gets groomed in return. She also gets along well with all the cats in the household.
Bean is petite and has a glorious tabby swirl pattern in grey on grey. Her fur is plush and soft and I would cover her in kisses if she'd let me.
