York Equestrian Riding School, located in Stouffville, Ontario, is looking for horses to join our Riding School and Camp programs.

Requirements:

- Between the ages of 5 - 20.
- A variety of horses would be considered, from walk/trot, to cantering cross-rail courses.
- Between the heights of 14hh - 16.2hh.
- Gentle and quiet personalities.

We are willing to look at horses within a 1.5 hour radius. Strong preference will be given to horses who are currently in active work.

🐴🥳Happy retirement Coco!🥳🐴

Coco has been a wonderful member of the York Equestrian herd and we want to wish her a happy retirement and a thank you for teaching so many of our students. She is heading off to retire at a small family farm where she will babysit another horse and go on the occasional trail ride. Coco will always be a barn favourite and our staff and students will miss her dearly, but we find much comfort in knowing she is going to a very loving home. And her new owner has even offered for students to visit Coco when they would like since she won't be too far away! Coco is set to leave next weekend, so if you are at the barn and happen to see her make sure you give her lots of hugs and kisses before she leaves for her new home!🥰

The applicant will be responsible for the care of 35 horses at an English equestrian riding school. The duties include but are not limited to: mucking, turn out/in, feeding, hay, general barn chores, farm maintenance, as well as horse care.
Must be flexible with schedule and willing to work as a team.
