Does Your Dog Suffer from Allergies?

Just like us, dogs can experience allergies that cause discomfort and irritation. Whether it’s environmental triggers, certain foods, or even flea bites, these allergies can make your pup miserable. Here’s what you need to know:

Common Types of Dog Allergies

- Food Allergies: Symptoms: Itchy skin, vomiting, diarrhea, and ear infections.

- Environmental Allergies: Symptoms: Sneezing, watery eyes, itching, and redness.

- Flea Allergies: Symptoms: Intense itching, hair loss, and inflamed skin.

What Can You Do?

1. Visit the Vet
It’s always best to get a proper diagnosis and treatment plan. Your vet might recommend allergy testing, a special diet, or medications to help alleviate symptoms.

2. Switch Diets

🕷️ How to Safely Remove a Tick from Your Pet at Home OR you can bring your pet to us to remove as well.

1. Grab your tools – Tweezers or a tick remover, antiseptic, and a small container with rubbing alcohol.
2. Remove the tick – Grasp it close to the skin and pull straight out (no twisting or squeezing!).
3. Clean the area – Use antiseptic on the bite and wash your hands.
4. Dispose of the tick by bringing it to your vet.
5. Watch for signs – Redness, swelling, or illness? Call your vet!

✔️ Prevention is key—check your pet regularly and use vet-approved tick protection!
