Had the best time celebrating a very good friend and boarder’s birthday yesterday on a trail ride! What a beautiful day! Thanks for the lovely ride cowgirls, so fun to ride with you :) 🦄

It was Ginny’s first trail ride too and she did super! Ginny is my Macgregor quarter horse mare that I bought as a project horse last fall and I’m super pleased with how far she has come since I bought her. I bought Ginny because I absolutely love her two siblings that call Timber Ridge home, so when I stumbled across her ad on Facebook and realized that she was their sibling I just had to go meet her haha! She has found a special place in my heart, and I feel so lucky to call Ginny mine 🦄

You know, I have been thinking a lot lately about how overwhelmingly grateful I am for all the people and ponies that are part of our barn family here at Timber Ridge as lesson students & boarders ❤️🦄 I owe you all the biggest thank you for always showing up, cheering each other on, and supporting one another in this cowgirl and cowboy way of life. Horses aren’t easy, but gosh are they rewarding and how fun is it that we get to do this along side each other cheering one another on. My heart is happy because of you, thank you ❤️🦄

It feels like summer! The outdoor arena is finally dry enough to ride in, which makes me super happy! Looking forward to teaching lessons outside and to camp this summer!! Gotta love that warm sunshine ☀️🦄☀️

We only have a couple spots left at camp this summer! 🦄🥳

We are hosting a few day camps this year:

July 6-9 for ages 7-15, Monday-Thursday 9am-3:30pm each day, beginner friendly and $455+gst. FULL!

July 28-31 for ages 7-15, Tuesday-Friday 9am-3:30pm each day, beginner friendly and $455+gst. ONLY A COUPLE SPOTS LEFT!

August 16-19 for girls ages 11-18 with a sleepover in the barn the night of Aug.18. 9am-3pm Sunday and Monday, 9am Tuesday to 3pm Wednesday, $515+gst. This camp is for current lesson student girls only. ONLY 1 SPOT LEFT!

They will be run similar to our camps in the past where the campers would be spilt into two groups for their riding lesson each day depending on age and ability, with some new games and activities as well :) there will be tons of fun activities, all centered around horses and horse care 🦄

Campers will need to bring a great attitude, an ASTM certified riding helmet, boots with a heel and lunch/snacks.

A non-refundable deposit of $255+gst ($267.75 total) is needed to secure a spot :) the remaining balance is due 2 weeks before the start of camp.

I am super excited to do camp again this summer, and I think it’s going to be the most fun camps yet :) I expect these camps to fill up quickly, so if you/your child wants to come let me know so we can get registered! 🥳🦄

Merry Christmas friends! I hope you all have a very merry holiday season! Thank you from the bottom of my heart for all the love and support this past year, I couldn’t do it without you guys 🫶🦄 2025 was a bit of a wild ride, but I am so thankful for the people and ponies that were a part of my 2025. I hear 2026 is the year of the horse, so that must mean 2026 is destined to be a great year 🦄🥳

Another fun project that we completed these last couple weeks was redoing one of the bridges in our trail system here at Timber Ridge! I love our trails, nothing better than a trail ride on a sunny summer day with good ponies and good friends 🦄☀️🌲

Also a little late sharing this, but Timber Ridge is over the moon to welcome two amazing new lesson horses to our barn family — Chica and Gunner!

They’ve already been busy teaching riders with patience, kindness, and a dash of personality, and we couldn’t be happier to have them in the herd.

So thankful to have the very best lesson ponies to help share my love of horses with all our lesson students and summer camp kids :) 🦄 we love you Chica and Gunner 🦄❤️🦄

So many fun things have gone on behind the scenes here this summer and just now I finally have a chance to post about them! We have been busy that’s for sure! Sollid Farms got an absolutely beautiful first cut of hay this year, and for the first time ever all of Timber Ridge’s hay this year will have been made by yours truly 💁🏻‍♀️ and my amazing husband Kristian. Team effort for the win! I have a love hate relationship with farming. Luck has let me down HARD in the farming department these last few years so it’s nice to finally have a hay shed plum full of beautiful hay that I helped make! We should even have some extra round bales to sell this year which is amazing! Maybe farming ain’t so bad after all 😂
