Breeding pedigreed Netherland Dwarf rabbits for show and pleasure

That’s a wrap on 2025! For us it was the year of the Britannia Petites & new breed discovery lol.

We have been dabbling a bit in other breeds - Dwarf Hotot, Dutch & Tans. We are still learning so much so it has been fun getting hands on with some different typed breeds & learning about them.

2026 will be refocused on Netherland Dwarfs development - it has been a lot of fun bringing more people into Netherland Dwarf breeding again as when I started the breed had dwindled to only 3 entered in a show. Now we regularly get 15+ without me bringing the majority which has been so nice while I worked on replacing my aging brood does.

Rabbitry goals are to make it to a Montana show & fingers crossed Reno Convention if our quality is there!

Thanks to everyone who supported us through 2025 & can’t wait to see everyone in 2026.

We had a wonderful time at the Hultholm Memorial show last weekend in Holden! Of course I wasn’t on top of taking pics haha

We got a final leg for our main herd buck CLL’s Liam to be able to Grand Champion him!

Also got a Best of Breed for our gorgeous Jr Lilac Netherland Dwarf Buck who we are very excited to see how he grows!

Adria also got honourable mention for Best in Show for her Britannia Petites.

We had a wonderful time at the Wildrose Classic in Bruderheim! Love catching up with friends and seeing all the gorgeous rabbits.

Didn’t get much pictures because we were running rabbits consistently & didn’t get BOB pics for the final day but able to get a few!

A homebred Britannia Petites received honorable mention for Best in Show as well as our Dwarf Hotot with wonderful comments.

Loved seeing some of our Netherland Dwarf lines in other people’s barns get awards as well as the only Himalayan Netherland Doe we received getting a BOB as Himalayans are harder to get the better type!

Thank you to the show committee for putting the show on and E.A.R.S rabbit club.

Finally got around to taking some pictures of the Dwarf Hotot kits! They sure are becoming a favourite around here with their funny personalities ❤️

We added a new breed this fall by an accidental convention purchase 😅❤️

We obtained a pair of adorable Dwarf Hotots and had our first litter a few days ago, and are so excited to see both kits have perfect eyeliner ❤️

We had a great time at the Farmfair Expo! Adria got to show some of her Brittania Petite babies now they are of age as well as some new additions!

Cougar Run’s Lucky got 2 BOB’s with 18 Britannias showing!

Mythos Lazarus got a BOSB in another show which is one of Adrias home bred babies.

Mythos Plato (Netherland) got his 8th leg.

We also got multiple other BOB/BOSB with our Netherlands & Britannias. As well as couple Honorable mentions 🥰

Adria also had an amazing time learning & collaborating with fellow Brittania Petite breeder Hares of Fillory.

We have had a great spring & summer success in breeding! We have 3 litters in the nestbox and 6 litters of Jr grow outs 😍

Excited to welcome our 1st litter of Brittania Petites, Adrias newest project breed.

Taking a break now until the weather cools down, hoping to get some fall breedings complete and hoping the heat doesn’t take a big hit on fertility.

A little late but we had a wonderful time at the SARBA “Suns out Buns out” show pat weekend! Didn’t get a lot of great pictures but had a ton of fun especially with the costume contest!

Adria is exploring with a new breed Brittania Petites and we are excited to welcome a doe to accompany our lovely buck!

Excited to have attended our 1st show of the year! Was so nice to get feedback on our Jrs from the Judges on how we are progressing in our breeding. Also big thank you to Saltwater Rabbitry for entrusting us with her Netherlands to move our Netherland program forwards & to Top Lop Rabbitry and Prairie Valley Rabbitry for taking some of our rabbits and continuing to show them with success!

By the time we took pictures most were over posing 🤣 but here is our attempt!

Our chocolate Himalayan project ended up going better then expected with our Himalayan Doe kindling THREE chocolate kits!
