Continuing Education in the form of classes are an excellent way to get out of the house and increase your bond with your dawg! There is always something more to learn. 💙💚

New round of Puppy Classes!!

Thursday nights starting July 24th!!

Class time will be 6:00PM for 4 weeks
Puppies must have a minimum of a second vaccination on board to join!

I Will also be starting a
New round of confidence building and obstacle course fun for any age of dogs who want to add some fun new things to their training!
Thursdays at 7:00PM for all ages!

Class runs for 4 weeks!

Dare we say it..? We have already started to book up our Christmas Calendar! ❄️

We do have a few vacancies left this summer for our smallest friends. ⛱️

We always tell our guests as soon as you know, let us know. At the very least, we can pencil you in!

The quality care that you find at a smaller facility is certainly a hot commodity for your best little furry friends! 🐾💙💚

THIS is a beautiful milestone. ❤️

We work hard to make sure every dawg's visit is their best possible staycation. Sometimes this means endless hours of playing with other happy dogs. Sometimes this means peaceful porch sits in the evening or lazy walks down our nature trails.

For dogs like Aspen, this means being given the time and space to become comfortable on her own terms. She is a shy girl and if we were to push ourselves into her space before she's ready, we risk making her feel unsafe. Instead, we give her room to learn we can be trusted not to force her into discomfort and find what makes her happy, here.

In this photo, I had just sat down on one of our play platforms in the same yard as her. She loves exploring the yards with me as a tandem es**rt but she doesn't want anyone but Mom inside her bubble.

I invited her up onto the platform beside and slightly higher than me. This would be a powerful position for a dog and does put me at risk, if she were the kind of dog to take advantage of that but she's just a scared sweetheart who would always choose to move away rather than engage in conflict. One of my best approaches with a dog like this is to show I am trustworthy by offering my trust first.

She considered it all for a moment then jumped up with a happy wag of her tail and came in close to check me out. A couple of chest tickles (again, more confidence building than head rubs) and that was enough for her. She popped off to explore some more!

Keeping us company in the grooming salon, exploring her own yards, greeting guests when they come through.

We have been fortunate enough to see some happy new faces in the salon this week and we are excited that sweet Gucci had a good experience! We appreciate feedback of any kind but are quite tickled with what Gucci's mom had to say:

"I can not say enough good words about our experience at your spa on Wednesday. Gucci’s personality has changed with this cut. She now thinks or should I say knows she is so stinking cute that I have a hard time not giving into her every demand. Thank you so very much💕💕"
