Meet Gemma and Sadie, our lovely senior yorkies. 💕These pretty lady’s get regular Comfort Grooms.

Comfort grooms are tailored to our special needs and senior dogs, to provide the most comfort possible throughout their grooms. This usually means while their haircuts might not be perfect they are always handled with extra care and lots of patience.

Gemma and Sadie are our special needs seniors and they’re unable to stand throughout their entire groom, so we really take our time to wash, dry, and cut their hair. Which is so important in their older age to keep them clean and fresh.

🚫 MYTH: “Teacup” dogs are a recognized breed standard.

✅ TRUTH: There’s no official breed standard for “teacup” sized dogs — and that term often signals extremely undersized dogs bred for appearance, not health.

Breeding dogs intentionally smaller than their breed standard can lead to serious health concerns including:

⚠️ Fragile bones
⚠️ Heart problems
⚠️ Low blood sugar
⚠️ Organ failure
⚠️ Shortened lifespan
